When I first started out, I took the advice to bulk create and push out 100s of designs, but I had not learned how to design yet. So I had 300+ terrible designs in my shop and almost no sales for a while, and I felt like I almost had to start over when I finally learned good design.

It's definitely a balancing act as a POD seller. You are both trying to make great designs and do good research, but also not let that hold you back from getting products up. Good for you for working to improve!

You're awesome Hannah - Super straight to the point, motivating, and always super helpful with practical tips every time. Thank you for being YOU! I have an Etsy store selling BC3001 Tee's and more recently added G18000 Sweater's and G18500 Hoodie's that I started at the beginning of May. I have 520 unique t-shirt designs of which 42 of the sellers/newer designs are on sweaters/hoodies. I have 41 sales so far and am addicted to that feeling I get when I see the "Cha-Ching!" notification on my phone! You have convinced me to jump on the Kittl train to pump out higher quality designs at a quicker pace.

@@FurbabiesnFun23 I technically opened my store on or around April 25th, but didn’t list anything until May 1st. Those first 100+ designs were absolutely horrible haha - I look back at them and shake my head. My first sale was on June 10th and my 41st sale yesterday. My conversion rate was 0.8% in June, 1.1% in July and currently 1.5% in August for a total average of 1.1% all time. Everything seems to be trending in the right direction but I know it’ll still take a lot of discipline and consistency to get where I want to go. I am determined to make this work though so I’m not going anywhere! How about you?

Hello Hannah, I have really enjoyed your videos and the way you present them. I am in the process of doing my top ten designs here in England/UK. One of the problems is understanding or knowing about the pixel size for each t-shirt you put up for sale as well as the price guide which I am slowly learning. Thank you

Hannah your videos are so helpful and inspiring. I was ready to give up. I got the 100 listings done 11 days ago and was so proud of myself. Alas not one sale. I just don't understand what I am doing wrong. I have looked at my etsy shop and it looks fine to me. However when I look at my shop on the phone app it shows nothing I have recently done. I am stumped. I started this shop to supplement my social security income and I'm thinking perhaps I'm out of touch and this is not something I can be successful at.

When uploading those first 100 designs, is the goal to target your "special" niche or multiple very specific niches? I could do 100 different designs for the sub niche of father of a middle school math teacher but is that efficient use of my time? Over saturation notwithstanding.
