GIRL, the decorations you picked out are SO FRICKIN CUTE!!!! Accidentally leaving them at your parent’s house was a blessing in disguise. It’s gonna be so cute and cozy for you for the winter. Can’t wait to see! I remember you saying the lighting in your kitchen is awful, so is mine at my house. I bought a plug in light cord and a lantern shade off of Amazon for $35ish to hang and put a table lamp on the counter. It made a world of a difference and is so much cozier to cook in. Also painted my kitchen pink. It’s so girly pop, I love it!

as a brazilian, i get to say most of us reuse the christmas decor for almost a decade, but i can't get my head around the fact that US people buy so much seasonal stuff every year, like what's with the overconsumption guys 😭😭 no hate towards Hannah, she's been my comfort youtuber for many many years now and this video is great and heartwarming, i'm just reflecting on it. if anyone could explain a bit of this behaviour... anyways, best wishes from brazil 💖

Over-consumption (my opinion) is normal. I think everything looks pretty but it’s unnecessary (again my opinion). I also reuse decoration and occasionally buy something different

If it makes you feel better, most people don't actually buy that much stuff each year, but ofc on social media lots of people buy more stuff so it seems more common than it actually is. But most of us only get a few new things each year as needed.
