A young lady on rocks/ Snow falling down/ Her hair of locks/ And a fire mound/ The chopping of the lake/ The moments not missed/ The taste of a snow flake/ And the trees in the mist/ Wisdom to see/ Solitude in stone/ Wisdom to be/ A young lady alone/

When you said you found happiness in nature as a reprieve from your depression - i immediately empathised. I find myself feeling the exact same - everything feels numb and empty until i get a moment alone in a forest, or a beach, and everything just seems to lift for a moment. I hope you’re able to find peace soon, this is a beautiful video :-)

I love that you show yourself so honestly. The depression, the need to get away n be alone.. the simple pasta face and setting the dirty pot on your knee lol this is me and its all of us❤ but damn it there's so much beauty in this world. We can choose to see that and be in that moment.

She always blossoms when she gets out in nature on her own, away from cities and away from people. And... having those places around you, it's so precious. There is nothing like that, at all, here were I live (apart from the fact that we're in a lock-down, so even if there was, I wouldn't be allowed to go there right now, but that's okay; I am actually quite enjoying the lock-down and it's made a few things better for me). Where I live has become a happier place. There is usually a lot of aggression and unhappiness around here, and it gets to me, but now, well, we're all stuck in our homes and most people are now much friendlier than usual - though there is always some guy somewhere once a week or so who tries to be pushy at the supermarkets, trying to get way with refusing to adhere to the social distancing and pushing ahead of everyone who is waiting in the line, neatly distances, but the security guards always send them back to the end of the line and they usually - at least so far - don't protest much other than pulling some faces and grumbling a bit.

Everyone battles with depression. This video was a stress reliever. I think your living a lot of people’s dream life right now. Camping and exploring day to day. Relaxing by the fire and enjoying a hot meal with a cold beer. Thats living a great life in my opinion. The simple things like just sitting in chair by the water is so relaxing. This is life. I really dislike this world but I love being in nature.

I feel what you say about major depression. I suffered it too and it slowly passed after two years of bicycle tour and one year of understanding what was relevant for my life. Personally found out it is important to be active, eat healthy and make good experiences. Now I finally got rid of addictive medicines and I'm building my future with the desire to become a digital nomad. Love from Italy 💕

Can you please make a video of how you sustain yourself? What kind of foods you do you eat normally during van life? How often do you splurge eating out? When you do, what do you typically go for? From the videos I’ve seen so far, I am amazed at how you satiate your hunger with such tiny amounts of foods! Is it because camping food is packed with nutritional value? Any things you miss while on the road food/cooking wise?

I’m watching this video months after it aired( 9 August). Yes, often when I get depressed, getting away to be alone, even if it’s just for an hour walk, very often is just what I need. Other times, I need to talk to my adult kids, or my hubby, or FaceTime with my grand baby ( yep, it’s still COVID-19 time, and I can’t be anywhere near my kids or grandchildren (1 I’ve never met in person yet. He was born end of June, in Germany. I live in New Mexico). Lately that’s the main reason I’ve been depressed. Oh, I love the music played in this video 🥰

There’s one thing I can tell you about Depression, Anxiety, and Worry. Some people may tell you to just stop. It’s not like a light switch that you just flick it off. I figured out 60 years late that 99% of this shit we think of that bothers us is never going to happen. And regardless of the 1% of the shit that did happen you will survive it. I did and I hurt for far to long. Now I take a stand face it head on and and if someone or something is in my way & and the shit run it’s course I eliminate it. I can tell you got GRIT and your intelligent. You will be just fine.
