Not just for creatives. it's the best overall build i've seen ever. switch out the drone equipment and print other holders. replace the 3d printer compartment with some other tech, maybe a gaming pc. reorganize one of the thousand small compartments. replace the e bikes with normal bikes or an e scooter. there are so many options to easily customize this van

I'm retiring next year (62 y.o.) I honestly see no point living in a house till I die. THIS is the way I want to retire ! I have friends and family scattered evenly from SoCal to St Pete Florida and living the van life has a huge appeal to me. I wish I found this lifestyle earlier but we can't go back in time so builds like this inspires me to build new or buy and outfit to my taste. I'm actually excited to retire now, this is definitely an eye opener 😍

😮❤ Just the other day I thought that I don't belive a few very popular Vanlife KZbinrs saying they life in the build 24/7 because they put emphasis on things like vases and roll out make up shelfs but had no space for tools or kitchen appliances or hidden spaces for tech 😅 This is the first build that truly makes sense to me as a long term all purpose/ all live situations solution! Incredible build. Practical and functional. I love different builds because you see what people prioritize. No amount of smart engineering would displace coziness and comfort for me, and this build doesn't look or feel very cozy to live in, but it seems to work well for what you two prioritze and that's what matters. @@dimarak8866 Overall yes it is shit, but if you compare it with other camper vans it is at par, its like when you top in the class with 5 marks out of 100, you still get A+ grade. So basically it isn't that of a shit, depends on the frame of reference. I would say it is doable and functional, not the most luxurious like leisure travel vans, but still innovative thinking and practically functional whilst making efficient use of the space.

What a masterpiece of a Class B Motorhome, Office, Workshop and Technical Wonder. If you were to start a van company using your awesome layouts, designs, technology by having a totally self-contained traveler, what would be your MSRP for this vehicle as it stands today? I can see you one-day down the road becoming the future in van builds, like you did with your state of the art e-super-speed-motor-bikes. In my honest opinion, you two have totally out smarted, out designed all other VAN MANUFACTURERES WORLD-WIDE! No matter who they are, the years of spending millions, if not billions of dollars throughout the years creating these kind of Class B's or what they have created, in recorded history of van and conversion builds. BRAVO!

Thanks! This layout is tailored for us. It would not be commercially successful. I agree a lot of companies can take few ideas from this build but for average folk the layout is pretty much what we see in commercial vans.

It's not uncommon to fall in the $75k base + $75k conversion=150k US. Though, if you use an older van and remove various personal upgrades it probably falls into the 100k range.

So many moving parts... this is going to transform into a nightmare in a couple of years. Don't like the open toilet either, right in front of the kitchen... not very hygienic honestly. I can see the amount of thinking that has been done, but it looks overengineered in all senses and not very practical. Also, it must be extremely heavy, hence dangerous on the road.

I’ve seen a number of van conversions and this is by far the best. You have multiple storage locations, cameras, things swivel and hide. Leveraging 3D printing for additional self-sufficiency and your use of color is awesome. One question, what area or system are you least happy with or breaks down most often and why?

Contemporary motorhome designers and manufacturers have much to learn from your imaginative practical idea's and technological solutions. This is the best layout I have found on KZbin. The only thing I would change is reversing the sink area and wardrobe area so that the toilet could slide out into th shower for privacy. Great job.

I've always love watching these camper van design videos, but only this time my jaw got dropped a bit seeing the sophistication levels. That on-board 3D printer is a brilliant idea, you can even one day replace it with the more industrial grade (providing the space is enough, of course), and sell your 3D printing services on the road.

I've been watching van life and box life videos for a few years now and honestly this is the best overall van build I've seen! I can tell that you and Margaret probably suffer from OCD? I know I do and your build really helped alleviate the OCD issues I typically face when looking at other peoples builds/designs. Every thing about other builds that trigger my OCD you two managed to take care of in your build! My wife and I are really interested in purchasing a similar van or a box truck and building our own the way you two have. The bad news is.. neither of us really have knowledge on building/construction etc. Because of that.. I worry that we'll either screw something up that will cost us alot of money after the fact, or we'll have to pay someone else a ton of money in order to help us achieve our ideas. That's the only reason we haven't already purchased a vehicle and started the process. Nerve wrecking to be honest with the whole *NOT KNOWING* how it will all turn out!
