Okay, I just purchased your book. I’ve seen meals your mom has made for years (in videos....I know it sounds like I was looking in her windows...lol) and wanted the recipes and now we have them. From you both. I know this will be a good one. Can’t wait to go through it. Also, I think you had just as many outfit changes in this one day as you did meals.😆 Good luck these last few weeks before your baby boy arrives.💙

My first pregnancy was a dream, the pregnancy was easy. Birth was easy. My second I was sick from the moment of conception to the second he was born. I couldn’t keep anything down except Gatorade and top ramen and I normally hate both of those things. They are worth it though, haha.

Hey Hannah, I'm usually not one to comment on KZbin videos, but this one hit home. I feel ya mama, I was so sick during my pregnancy. I suffered from hyperemesis gravidarum and I threw up almost every day the entire 32 weeks I was pregnant. It got so bad I was even hospitalized after not being able to keep anything down, not even water for about a week. Countless trips to urgent care for IV fluids and a medication called Zofran my entire pregnancy. It was absolutely terrible, but I would do it all over again for my little Leo. Even born at 32 weeks he was almost 5 lbs and only spent 31 days in the NICU. Today he is 8 months old, 17lbs and strong as ever! It goes by so fast, but those food aversions and so real and the days feel so long when your nauseous. So I feel ya and completely understand! Hang in there mama, your little boy will be here before you know it! Sending all my love, -Clarissa 😊❤🥰

I ate instant ramen for lunch today and I feel so relieved to hear that other pregnant women feel and eat the same. I love vegan healthy food and cooking so much and it is incredibly hard to have nausea for months. Cola and Chips are sometimes the only things possible. Even thinking of other food can cause sickness. Thanks for sharing openly and in such a funny way :)

OMG I love your videos and I especially love the comments. It feels good to know I’m not alone in the nausea department...I’m 12 weeks pregnant and haven’t been able to find a food that I can keep down. I’ll have to try the dougall noodles you suggested cause all I can tolerate to eat are chips, which aren’t always guaranteed to stay down either. I never thought being vegan was hard until I got pregnant. I’ve basically stopped cooking, the smells drive me out 😭 and cooking used to be my stress relief 🥲 but I just want baby to be healthy “and the baby better be cute” 😂

My first pregnancy was miserable from day one til the last day. Nausea, food aversions, headaches. There was like a 3 month period where the ONLY thing I could eat without feeling sick was Taco Bell 🙈 #9 crunchwrap supreme combo. It was literally the ONLY food that didn’t come out after eating. My second pregnancy I didn’t have any issues with nausea or feeling bad. I felt so good through the whole pregnancy.

Oh my gosh, your book is BEAUTIFUL! I teared up reading the first page and last page. It’s such a beautiful book with so many beautiful pictures. I’m not a good cook or someone who can just “wing it” when making a meal. I need details. A recipe. I appreciate nothing more than a lot of pictures so I can see what it’s suppose to look like. I can’t wait to try a few of these. Might start with the White Chili. Lastly, in reading your mom’s “Foreward” she mentioned cooking classes possibly in the future. She should consider on-line cooking classes. I’d be interested.😊 Congratulations to you both!

I've had to drastically cut my vegetable consumption which sucks considering I still have a distaste for sweet foods. It's much better than first trimester though! But yeah, eating even a normal volume of food, let alone the typical wpf volume of food I used to eat, is not possible and just gives you pain! Thank goodness I can stomach almond butter again. Hey, Hannah. Please know that you don't need to think it is "bad" or judge yourself for eating some processed foods... now or ever! There is nothing wrong with what your body is craving. There is no need for the long pause before you share what you are eating. Guilt is the issue, not the food.
