I was at Harrods in 1997, too long ago. I had the most wonderful day buying china to ship back to the states. Best fun. I had tea in a lovely garden type room with the feel of a greenhouse. Earlier, I ate at a different restaurant for lunch of quiche and salad. Just a wonderful day and experience. Now I must go back and have tea in the gorgeous Georgian Room.

Thank you for that stunning afternoon tea. I do agree it looks like one of the best. Beautiful decor. Each item served was unique and special. No fillers. Desserts amazing. So many teas have too many mouse or cream filled and no variety. Each item was carefully created. Also, a great tea menu and the special treat to have a sample to take home. It was great to be able to rake sandwiches home. Why not a 10 out of 10. I live that you were not rushed and the price was great for such an elegant tea. You do a great tea review and you looked so elegant!

Whenever we are in London my wife and I make it a point to have tea at Harrods. If you want to save a bit of money the Cafe does a Scone & Tea service for around £25. Just as good!

I enjoyed every single minute of this, transported back to a time when I could afford to indulge myself on the odd occasion when I used to live in London. However the highlight for me was not the food, the narration or even the decor, all of which were outstanding, but what I believe is a 1961 Bentley S2 Continental Flying Spur in two-tone green parked outside Harrods at the beginning of your video (0:29). One of the nicest cars Bentley ever produced. To buy one today would cost the equivalent of one person having afternoon tea at Harrods every day, including the cover and service charges, for more than six years. By which time you would probably need to have the suspension uprated.....That aside, thank you for another lovely video showcasing the best that London has to offer. Happy Christmas Hannah.

Those prices are the reason why I, as 61 year northern lady, have only visited London 3 times in my whole life and 2 of those times were day trips. The north/ south divide is real. I'd love to explore our capital, but the cost is prohibitive. The cost of that afternoon tea is roughly the same as what I spend on a weeks worth of food for myself, son and granddaughter. A decent afternoon tea here costs about £20 per person and even that's reserved for special occasions. I'm not trying to be a party pooper, but it's important that people overseas understand that this is far from representative of most of the UK.

We had tea at Harrods one year between Christmas & New Year. It was delightful. Nice atmosphere, Food was good, not rushed in any way and pleasant service. Price was not outrageous like some other sites. 😊

@@maureenmurphy7817 As I've read, Harrods has a dress code to enter the store. And The Georgian at Harrods has a "Smart dress code." Women: No t-shirts, jeans, trainers (sneakers). Men: trousers (not jeans), proper shoes, shirt w/collar and "smart" denotes jacket w/probably a tie. It's up to them to enforce their rules if they want a reputation as being a step above the rest and in respect to their clientele who do respect to dress appropriately for afternoon tea/fine-dining.

My family and I happened to be in London on vacation for my birthday. So after a tour of the Abbey & stopping in to my favorite place in London,The National Gallery, we walked up The Mall and took pics in front of Buckingham Palace. Afterwards, I was treated to tea at Harrod’s. It was an amazing experience and one of my favorite birthday’s ever. It also started a tradition of traveling on my bday.

Nice relaxed view of different Harrods departments. The resturant area was so much more special since the refurb, than the last time you showed us. Nice selection of teas and food.
