My grandma says that in the bible it says that if I don't go to church, i will go to hell. I don't want to go to hell. My mom said that she doesn't want me going To church cuz of coronavirus. Hey Hannah, I have something thing on my heart I would like to share. I have been getting closer to God during quarantine but sometimes I feel more scared than convicted in my heart about certain topics like “lukewarm,” “on fire for God” and “progressive Christianity.” Mainly because I wonder whether that means our works should be better or our faith. I also get scared bc, I am struggling to understand love. We should love God with all our strength but I still feel like I don’t understand his love for me. As well as accepting the way God made me. So I question if I’m “on fire” for God because I don’t understand the meaning of love in God’s eyes and not the world’s.

It doesn't take time. It takes a moment of faith to ask for forgiveness. That's it, just ask and all your sin is no more. I have my own issues with backsliding and sin, but I'm trying to understand that once I ask I am fully forgiven, that I am saved and when I was it was because He chose me and He gives us a piece of heaven, a piece of His power in the Holy Spirit and our spiritual gifts!! I mean our God gave us, us!! a part of Himself, His power!! Isn't that wild?!? The God of the universe loves us so much as to share a piece of His great power with us! I'm sorry to be repetitive but when I read that is 2 Peter 3-4. He shares His glory and goodness as we grow in faith , work hard to be good for Him and learn what He wants of us. Put aside your desires, I know how hard it is because I struggle with it every single day and I fail but I'm working on my faith in Him. Let go of your thoughts and mind, ask Him to take over and believe He will. I promise He will. This spiritual battle is getting so hard to fight but let Him fight it for you!! He will! James Tucto no. You can’t lose your salvation and idolizing does not make you *lose* your salvation. Christians struggle with sin and anyone who claims to not sin is a liar. (1 John 1:10) Keep trusting Jesus. If you agree with Jesus in your heart that your sins are wrong, you will be forgiven. (1 John 1:9) (The word “Confess” in this verse basically means agreeing with God that your sin is wrong. If you truly believe your sin is wrong in your heart, God will make a change in you and will cause you to hate sin.) Your actions will tell you if you really do believe in your heart. (Matthew 12: 33-37)

Okay... uhm I really need help. I’ve been so afraid, so fearful. I feel like I’m not ready at all. The problem I really have is - I KNOW it but I don’t WANT to DO anything about it. I love God. I hope I really do, and I don’t know what I’d do without Jesus. But lately, since the beginning of 2020, everyone’s been talking about the end. I prayed over it, and for New Year, I received a verse that calmed me and comforted me - it said something about me and my future generation. So I truly believe that God has a great purpose for my future and that I will have a family, and there’ll be more from my line. But, here’s the thing - how can I trust that when everyone is saying it’s all gonna end soon? (Also I want to know what “soon” means here cuz how soon is “soon”? Next year? A decade later? When?) With all this talk, I’m struggling to truly believe that I have a purpose in this world because, if I do have a purpose, what if the world ends without me fulfilling it? I’m still a teenager...full of dreams and aspirations. I want to grow up, get into a university, get a job, get married, have kids. Would the world end before all this? If it’s super near, will I never get to grow up and have a family? Won’t I get the chance to raise up loving children to share God’s love and His Word? I’ve completely lost my peace for the past few months because of all this.. everyone is saying get ready it’s here it’s gonna happen. Some man predicted it will happen in 2021, and that isn’t far either. I’m just... I don’t want to fall prey to false prophecies and false prophets. I know that I have to read the Bible, and pray harder. But am I capable of doing all that? How hard should I be trying? Should I be on my knees for 16 hours a day, reading 30 chapters a day, and should I completely throw my phone away, not text, not watch any movies, or listen to anything, or hang out with friends? Should I sacrifice being a social person and just isolate myself from the world and stay at home and read His word only? Should I give up applying for universities because, what is the point? How am I supposed to live? How much should I sacrifice? None of our sacrifices can compare with the one Jesus made on the Cross, so how can I find it easier to sacrifice? How can I avoid being lazy to read the Word? How can I simply stop being afraid? How can I stop being too attached to my family and lover here on Earth and focus just on Jesus? I hope you read this and reply soon ❤️

In fact, he made me believe in God again, I just recently came back from a long drought. Besides that my advice as a fellow teenager is to not drop all ambitions. There is a lot of heightened emotions about the time of his return that has everyone at the edge of their sits. Yes, we are living in the last days but everything is still a process in terms of completing the last steps for the great tribulation, a lot needs to be done in terms of prophecy being complete before that time comes where he makes his reveal and comes back. Just calm down and go on with your life. Being on pause won't do anything but stress you out, be alert and aware of the time and seasons but keep moving and planning for the future. He may not even be here in ten years. Also, DO NOT LISTEN TO PEOPLE WHO PUT DATES OR YEARS ON THESE THINGS, try avoiding rapture dedicated videos, end time/dream videos, and prediction videos that heighten your anxiety, it'll put you in a spiraling rabbit hole of fear to rush. They'll fear monger and give false expectations and hopes as well as potentially mislead you into believing it won't happen at all inevitably if the year or date fails to pull through for Jesus. It is directly said in the bible no one knows, we can know what time we live in but as far as when it'll happen we simply just don't know, the angels and Jesus don't even know, only god, so mere human beings making predictions the son of God doesn't even know, mean nothing at all. Just be cautious and keep it moving, I understand too because I'm a teenager but just remember two things, his coming back soon but not after all prophecy is fulfilled and to keep it pushing until his here. Getting close to god, however, make small adjustments. Read a chapter a day, a verse a day, pray once or twice a day, catch yourself in sin. We can never be good enough, we fall short to the glory of God, that's the whole reason he came down to earth to die for our sins because he knows we're helpless and uncontrollable to them, we're weak at the knees for sin that's why he did the work for us "...it is finished" John 19:28-30, all you need to do is try making an effort to be in a relationship with the son of god and god. You can't do it all, just do the best you can and don't feel guilty for falling short, just attempt to be the best version of following Christ, it takes steps to get there, don't rush but be active. ☺️

I can understand where you are coming from and the first step is to pray and ask God to send his holy Spirit to open unto you a hunger and yearning for the word of God, or maybe that you feel the lack there of and you want him to change it. Going to God should be our first and best decision. I saw a video on a Pastor named Ivor Myers on 3abn on Photology: how to study the Bible. I dropped to my knees and cried out to Jesus for forgiveness and deliverance and my life has been one blessing after another. The divine healer, I give all the glory and praise to God because he is so good. Few nights ago I was falling asleep listening to gospel music and I entered into this paralysis, my eyes were open but I had no control over my body. There were these dark shackles, what felt like an energy, chocking me. Then all it took was for me to say... Jesus, Jesus, and the darkness left and I had control over my body again. Demons are real, satan is real. Now more than ever, as disciples of Christ. Are called to warfare. Because this generation is wicked and corrupt.

I like two things that were said to me before..one by a pastor and one by a believer. One said if you want to believe and obey or not so beit. But remember this if you choose to believe and its not true, you haven't lost anything, yet you may have gained understanding and wisdom. However if you choose not to believe, and its true, you literally have lost everything and beyond. The other said, god loves you so much that he gave you free will, so if you use it to choose not to believe, So god will choose not to burden or force you into heaven against your will.
