You should definitely look into accepting Jesus as your Lord and Aaviour. Trust me, He will change your life for the better. If you want to be saved, all you have to do is confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe that Jesus died on the cross for our sins and that He rose from the dead on the third day. Once you’re saved, repent of your sins and pick up your cross, deny yourself, and follow Jesus, have a relationship with Him. God bless you❤️

I want to have that quality time with God. I pray everyday when I wake up and before I go to bed but mostly when I wake up. I also read bible devotionals online. But I know it's not enough. I live in a very small place with my husband and it's a little hard to have privacy. I need a deeper connection with God. I've been through a difficult journey and my husband and I are going through a life transition. It hasn't been easy but I am hopeful and God has been so good. Please keep me and hubby in prayer. I hope that you find that connection, time, and place with the Lord. I think we have all been there. In fact, I recently have been there for other reasons. And you know what? The Lord had been stripping a lot from me. I had been pioneering my own church, traveling to preach to middle school students, going into the juvenile hall to preach, evangelizing in the streets, and the list goes on. It was literally ministry, school, marriage, and family 7 days out of the week, until I burnt out, and I had to deal with some surfacing character issues. The most important above is simple: Intimate communion with the living God! Rest in him; that's what he wants for you. No need to strive in his presence.

As a man, i wished and prayed for a christian woman in my life to marry and serve the Lord together, but only He knows if we are ready for it, if we should be married or not. First and foremost, we must seek Him, and everything else shall be added, according to His will. What we wish most of the time is not what God wished for us. We must trust Him FULLY NO MATTER WHAT. Before we ask Him for a husband/wife, we must repent of our sins, completly, then ask forgiveness, change our ways and follow Him. Then the Holy Spirit shall reside in us, bare fruit, so we can offer our partner what God wants us to offer, a clean heart that is :) Blessing to you, in Jesus name.

Rest for the soul is worshiping God everyday as that is what the seventh day of creation WAS originally intended as, the eternal day of unbroken fellowship between God and man. Christ reconciles through the cross restoration of that intended eternal 7th day for any day of the week for the beleiver because the day was pointing to the substance which is Christ. You can joyfully observe the Jewish Sabbath, but don't go crazy and turn into a seventh-day Adventist...because it'll go EXTREMELY DOWNHILL FROM THERE....TRUST ME.

I grew up religious but stopped praying in High School, spent decade of being depressed and alcoholic, now the Lord has filled me with new light and hope. I wrote the whole Genesis in my note book, and now working on Exodus. I didn't understand why I was lead to do this, but someone said, there was a reason trust in God. (I've read Gen 3 times) I've notice that today and all week I've been distracted by negative things of this world, so I contacted my brother in Christ to do a challenge with me and share it with everyone. From 6-9 pm est put away all electronic devices (unless using it for bible hub or e-sword) and read our bible. It was refreshing to do this and the confirmation that I'm doing the right thing is "this video", which was posted around 9:30 pm est. (haha, God has a sense of humor). Hi, Ashley! Here at my church in Brazil we have something like your day with God. Once a year the entire church opens a spiritual fast on a specific date called "the fast of daniel". For 21 days we keep disconnected with the world, social networks and secular information. We get away from things we like to do like playing video games, going out with friends, listen to music and watching TV and movies, except if it's something related to faith and church messages. On these days we dedicate ourselves more to meditating on the word and connecting more with things above. We have been doing this for years and God has blessed everyone who participates with a sincere and thirsty heart for God. Many people received the Holy Spirit on this date. God bless!

Thank you so much for your videos. The last two mornings I've gotten up early and spent time outside with the Lord. I spent over an hour with God in the quiet this morning. It doesn't feel like enough. I've just gathered my Bible and journalling supplies to spend more time with the Lord. Thank you so much. I've been living with infertility for 15 years and you are so right. Joy is found in the Lord. I realised that around 5 years ago and His Word changes everything. I’ve been doing this somewhat for quite a while now. The first thing I desire every day now is to hear from the Lord especially if it’s a scripture in the Bible that helps me get my day started. Or I’ll wait on the Lord in prayer until He gives me a Word. I just cut out watching TV period, the only thing I watch is the evening news and encouraging videos on YT of other Christians testimonials concerning these times we are living in and that’s it. I spend almost all my time in His Word and prayer. What greatly helped me was when I took all the sports apps off of my phone, because of the notifications that was going to be a distraction. Because I had all the sports apps on it. When I did this the next day all the sports got canceled or suspended due to this virus thing. That gave me confidence I was doing the right thing. The Lord then told me I’m going to fill you” because I gave up my things. What made me do this was I heard a woman say on YT. If Jesus gave it all up for me, how come I couldn’t do the same. All the distractions in reality have been removed. So we all can make some more time for the Lord. Now people with children at home especially now, you may have to ask the Lord to make a way for you to do this because parenting is an all day thing with no breaks so I completely understand.Thank you for this video it’s going to encourage a lot of people God Bless You

When a decision is unclear, ask yourself these questions: Will Christ be glorified in this choice? Can I do this in Jesus’ name? If either answer is no, then don’t follow that path, because the Holy Spirit is not guiding you there. His leading always aligns with Scripture and brings glory to Christ.

All the words you have spoken and words in this video have truly resonated with me. God called for me during this time of self isolation. He was there for me, but I wasn’t. About two days ago I started reading the words of the Bible. I have gotten rid of secular music, and things of the world. I am determined to follow the words of God. I know he’s there for all of us. It is our duty to pay him forward. Thank you for your words. I am on the path of becoming a new version of myself. We are required to take a day of rest. It’s right there in the Ten Commandments! Remember The Sabbath Day To Keep It Holy..... People always say they keep the Ten Commandments but they more or less keep 9 by forgetting the Sabbath. I Don’t know why. Keeping the Sabbath is soooo refreshing! I truly enjoy Sabbaths! We are no longer under the law, we are under the new covenant. There are actually 613 mosaic laws, “The Ten Commandments” are just the well known ones. If we are still supposed to follow these laws that means no Saturday yard work (Saturday is the actual Sabbath day), no pork, and no clothing made from mixed materials (amongst other things). Christ came to fulfill the law and establish the New Covenant. The law was our schoolmaster to being us to Christ- to make us realize that we couldn’t reach perfection on our own (Galatians 3). But when we become children of God we enter into a rest that He eternally provides (Hebrews 4+). I have no problem with having a day of rest and think that God has instituted having a rhythm of rest in our lives. But spending your Saturdays not working isn’t a commandment for those of us on the side of the cross, under the new covenant. :)

I got to read Luke 15 today (the passage on the prodigal son) today and when I got to the part about the older son not being happy about the attention his brother got upon his return I couldn't understand this behavior. After watching this video, God literally just brought enlightenment for me. We are all loved equally irregardless of our differences. What a wonderful Father we have!

Thank you so much for this wonderful video. Your wisdom is a huge blessing to me. You have confirmed many things for me. I have taken that time on some Saturdays prior to the pandemic where I just stayed inside in my bed and I reveled in God. I listen to music, I watched KZbin channels like yours that talked about God and hearing his voice. During this pandemic I have been working - I'm a doctor and most importantly a believer. God is causing us to refocus our attention on him. That is if we're smart. Despite all of the pain, loss, anger, confusion, uncertain times - you are right if we have God then we have it all. Thank you for putting so beautifully into words the importance of turning down everything else in our life and just taking one day at a time. God tells us that in his word do not worry about tomorrow but to be in today and to focus on his plan and his desire for us in that moment. I have been journaling since I was 13, I am now 56 years old and it is a wonderful way to commune and focus your thoughts. Revelation jumps off the pages of the Bible as well as your Journal when you look at where God has brought you from and what he has walked you through. Keep up the great work on this KZbin channel

I found this really interesting because your understanding of spending the day with God is almost the opposite of mine. If I'm having a retreat or spending the day with God I make sure NOT to do most of the things you did otherwise I personally feel like I'm trying to 'study' God rather than listen to Him and just 'be' with Him. If someone came to spend the day with me and while they sat in my room with me I kept reading a book about them or listening to podcasts and songs about them, I think they'd be disappointed because they wanted to spend the day with me and to have one-to-one interaction with me but I was kind of ignoring them. When I spend a day with God I generally won't touch my Bible for the first couple of hours. I will write in my journal what's been going on lately in my life and what I've sensed God saying to me. Then I will put my journal down and simply spend face to face time with God, talking directly to God, worshiping or silently adoring Him, and predominantly listening to Him. Usually a theme that God wants me to look at will then come up and so only then will I turn to my Bible to read and study and meditate around the theme that God gave me to think and pray about. Or God might put a particular Gospel story on my heart so I will pray with that passage, really entering into it with all of me and praying with it. (To really 'be' with God through the Bible and encounter God rather than simply study God I do Lectio Divina or Gospel Contemplation with the Bible, rather than study or memorize it. I find it much more deep and life changing.). After a while of that I will put my Bible down and go back to talking face to face to God and listening to God or just doing stuff in silence, listening out for God. I might go for a walk but I'll keep my ears and mind open (free from scripture and podcasts and worship music) so that I can have a two way conversation with God as I walk, or listen to what God wants to say to me personally that day - first hand encounter with God rather than second hand encounter through other people's preaching and song writing etc. I might write down in my journal what I feel God saying to me, respond to God in prayer, use my journal or do some art to meditate on what I feel God saying to me, or I meditate on a picture that I feel powerfully shows what God is saying to me and wants to take me deeper into. I might go back to the Bible for a bit if God moves me onto a different theme or brings another passage to mind, but then put my Bible down again to be face to face with God again. My understanding of spending a day with God focuses on listening to what God is saying to me personally directly that day and talking or sitting with Him 'face to face'.

I used to switch on my phone to keep me company through my activities but it’s a distraction from me talking to god and hearing him.. so I’m going to start talking to him as I go through my day..

I just downloaded AW Tozer's book, The Pursuit Of God. Th at. book is amazing! We are no longer allowed to be out and about in public with the exception of grocery shopping, work, walking, and going to the doctor. Reading the bible and hearing the word of God will really rebuke us. Just finished my time with God todayand felt wonderful that I got rebuked. Matthe 6:33 Seek the kingdom of God above all else and live righteously and God will give you everything you need. You are right most of us take a little time to talk and sit with God. We try to do first other things and seek other things but not God. This quarantine really brings lost souls closer to God. I thank God for all the lost souls and to those Christians who began to weary that right now they find time and way to go back to our Lord.

This was very eye opening. I too put my value in the things that I do and I've been finding it incredibly hard to be forced to stay inside where I can't go out and live my normal, busy routine. But as you pointed out, it is more important to sit at the feet of Jesus and listen to His teaching than anything else I could fill my life with. It's reassuring to know that I am not the only one struggling with this and I am thankful that I found your video.
