This country doesn’t belong to someone else's father. Sheikh Mujib is former president and Hasina’s father. He called for independence in 1971 who used to act like a dictator in post war period of 1972-1975 until some army officers assassinate him. During Hasina's regime, dictatorship was everywhere. In fact she openly claimed that Bangladesh is her fathers country so she own Bangladesh.

Mujib didnt call for independance. He never said "Let's fight for our freedom"/ "Let's free Bangladesh". It was General Zia who said "We revolt" and started the armed resistance.

Shohid a bangla word originating from Arabic. Commonly used in Arabic to mean "martyr". There is a lot of thesis and back and forth about who can be considered a Shaheed. But the people of Bangladesh unanimusly agree that those that died in the recent protest are Shaheed or martyrs. Because a few of the criteria to be considered Shaheed are those who died speaking the truth against an unjust ruler(what essentially happened), those who died defending they religion, life, family, right. So in the song he spoke the names of the students who died in recent protests and said they were martyred(Shohid).

the protest was done by normal student and you told that students waere violent to other students, the studnts who got violent are the members of the student league AKA chatro league (student community of awami league (sheikh hasina's goverment)) this incident happened at starting of the movement after that police need to be involved then the student league stoped then at the last (few days ago) army came started handling the protesters shezan was not arrested only hannan was arrested and he was the only artist who got arrested(not sure) and rapper takbir who was in the "ustha pickup" track got shot and fortunately he is alive hannan is the best friend of shezan they are from the same hood if you listen shezan's tracks like "kashundi,clear cut etc. he got verse in the songs
