If I understood situation well, Hanni has bigger problem now. Her current visa was issued by Ador but she declared not to be contracted to Ador anymore. Which would mean also her visa is not valid. I hear she was reported to the immigrant office that she is breaching visa law since she didn't leave country in 14 days after she declared her "indipendency" from Ador. In that context, Hanni overstayed her visa. It will be interesting to see how will immigration dept. reacts.

I don’t think they’ll do anything for now at least not immediately I saw videos and articles saying experts said the immigration office will not judge Hanni as an illegal immigrant right now at least since Ador has filed a lawsuit against NewJeans to confirm the validity of the exclusive contract. In most countries, you cannot be in the country during the application period. If Adore has already submitted the application and it is in process, she cannot submit a separate application. Also if their contract with Adore is still in effect, she will be in breach if she works for another company. Adore can also sue that company for working with them directly. At any rate, she and the other members have a rough road ahead of them.

As someone who works in immigration but in a EU country. Please never wait to apply after your visa expires unless you're 130% certain that those are the rules of the country you're in. If Hanni is cooperating and applies with Ador as a sponsor and all of this is a public stunt. I might deny her visa application and reference her public statements regarding her relationship with Ador. I'm not certain what kind of evidence I would need from Hanni to make it probable that she would stick with Ador for the new visa period. Even if she publicly stated that she has terminated her contract I wouldn't open up a case to recall her current visa. The time left was so short and there is legal uncertainty regarding her move. It's easier to deny something than recall it.

When you need a work Visa in South Korean to work in the entertainment business your 'sponsor' in this Case ADORE is the one who is your sponsor without it you can't work and if you do so illegal that could result in large fines and deportation. ADORE has already said they have everything prepare it just needs Hanni to go into ADORE and sign so ADORE can submit the paper work. Hanni is now in 'Catch 22'. If she refuses ADORE she in breach of contract and she can NOT go to anyone else as she's still legally under ADORE. Nt other company can say she's one of our artists we will submit the paperwork. If she does go to ADORE signs it and it's submitted it confirms that she's under ADORE and can't work with any other Company, that their contract with ADORE is still valid. Either way she's' royally stuffed' as we say in the UK.

Agree. But also Hanni has a final card in her hand: an investor who's willing to set up a co juz for NJ or her. Juz like what an investor did for Kang Daniel. So won't be surprised if NJ could get out of their contracts as the investor thinks they could still be cash cows for their new co. MHJ must still be actively working towards that goal, as part of her revenge plot towards Hybe, even before she signed on the dotted line to become ADOR's CEO. My only relief is that everyone who knows of these cases: MHJ vs HYBE, NJ vs ADOR, are starting to be sware of the whole picture, and unfortunately, both MHJ & NJ had no proof like KG of JYPE USA that they had a slave like working conditions. Conversely, they have everything or more facilities than what BTS have, the top group in their co. So they have till today, literally, nothing to complain about, except, people in their workplace igmoring them! Truly peacocks who need everyone, including BSH, the biggest shareholder, to kow tow to them! Talk about inflated egos! So kdrama. Now i realise kdrama reflects real life. Sure scriptwriters are already writing these cases to be produced in the near future.

I wonder what part of her income is based on advertising? By all accounts they have 16 ad deals. If they terminate the contract they lose that money and there is no guarantee that those advertisers will renew with a new entity, especially if there is a risk of being sued by ADOR. Ultimately this means they will have significantly less income than previously. New advertisers also run the risk of legal uncertainty until NJ’s contract termination is ratified by a court.

It seems that all the boy groups in K-pop work so hard and just as they attain a measure of real success and popularity they have to go into the military. Sometimes it breaks them up, they never go back to their former fame. Once again BTS is breaking the mold by having all the members go in at relatively the same time to shorten their “ hiatus”. Re BTS enlisting and what the fans feel towards them doing something they don’t love, if BTS got exempted fr enlistment, they’d never hear the end of it. SK w/ shortage of man power for military should let those in 30’s into 50 serve including women. Israel has both men & women serve, it’s 2024 & SK can’t afford to only depend men to serve the country. Also, in my mind, it’s healthy for BTS to do something besides music to find new insights into life. They’ve been living in a bubble for 13 yrs+. See how much the members have grown w/ individual projects in past 2 years which wouldn’t have happened if they were to only focus on BTS. It took RM a year & half to arrive at RPWP

@@anitaherbert1037 Some believe that yes. Since she declared being independent from Ador on Nov 29, she should apparently leave the country in 14 days because her visa was issued through Ador. But she didn't leave the state. She was reported to Immigrant office for violating her visa, however, we have yet to see how will they respond since Ador still consider her contract as valid. If Immigrant service comfirm's Hanni's independence declaration, then she breached the visa laws. But if they support Ador, then she didn't breach visa laws. Yet.

​@@babyangelally what they said is still true, even when bigger artists perform there. think of them more so as advertisements for the festival. coachella wouldn't have become such a "traditional" event if there were no famous acts to promote it. if everyone was just underground, indie etc. it would've never gained the popularity it has/had. but at the core its still true that coachella isnt a proper or important stage for huge acts to perform on. someone like bts wouldn't gain much from performing there, unlike artists that still need to gain interest of the general public and promote themselves to be known and talked about. its exposure for upcoming artists, promoted by established artists. in a way its comparable to mtv, which isn't a respectable or "proper" representation of great music anymore, its just name sake and the industry promoting itself. this isn't shade but someone like bp wouldn't be talked about at all in western media when it comes to artistry if it wasn't for these kinds of exposing stages that allows them to be talked about in articles, reviews etc. so in that sense, bts doesn't belong in that environment.

I think a songwriting collab with Tyler Joseph (of Twenty One Pilots) would be interesting since he raps, sings, writes and produces. My personal music tastes would be very unlikely collabs, though if BTS ever decided to try indie I have lots of recs lol. Yes I totally think BTS should do a Vegas residency concert, the biggest legends in the music industry have done them like Elton John and Celine Dion, even Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga. Coldplay also did a Wembley residency show which is cool too. Before 2022 if you asked me my thoughts on what BTS could do I would have said build their own Stadium in S.Korea to host their own concerts there but now after all that's come to light about many companies conspiring to take BTS and Hybe down with media and even government involvement I saw scrap that whole idea. Instead Hybe build a large arena venue in S.Korea, name it after BTS (in someway) and charge other acts to use it. Many of their own artists could use it as well but it won't be built for BTS concerts (for now at least they can always do that later) because frankly I think S.Korea needs to learn a few lessons honestly. They need to see BTS go to places like Vegas or do residency's in other places like South America etc and see them earn big money for those places or other countries. I doubt BTS will do any of the things I'm saying cuz it's what I want lol but I really want their post military era to be their FAFO era to everyone. I also think they have been holding up the entire Kpop industry for years now even while gone in the military although Korean financial experts noted the stagnated growth of kpop during their enlistment even calling it a "kpop crises" in financial articles while ungrateful kpop industry people have been trying to destroy BTS for years. Kinda like the mythological figure Atlas that carries the entire world on his shoulders I feel BTS has been carrying the Kpop industry on their backs for years, they have been weighed down by the label and burdened with the heavy task all while enduring attacks from those who they are propping up. I know they have been actively trying hard to make the kpop industry better for other artists but I think now that they've established enough they can carry on doing that behind the scenes with Big Hit and Hybe or many smart efforts. I think they can put down the kpop industry mantle now and feel the freedom or release of that burden. If the industry sinks or swims it will no longer be BTS's responsibility or problem. BTS will be doing their own thing like frankly the majority of their career but unshackled this time.

Til the contract case is finalized she is still under the Ador work visa. That is why Ador is still doing the paperwork for it. While the court case is on going that will still be the visa she is using. UNLESS she refuses to come in and sign it, I think. Which I doubt she will go in and sign. She is banking on her being free to go where she pleases.

BTS haven't done Arena tours in years it's the biggest stadiums on the planet otherwise we ARMY would never get a chance to see them live and they'd have to do far to many dates in a row to try to cater for ARMY. I'm one of the lucky one's I saw them at Wembley Stadium on the second night other than that I've have to watch live streaming of their concerts. Then go to the cinema's month's later to rewatch a Stadium concert I've watched via live stream. Bangtan our Global Super stars.

I’m going to make an unpopular comment, with all respect, but as a 57 years old baby ARMY, and a “metal head” for decades, it worries me that you and some other people think that BTS is above everyone and that they don’t need no one else. But the truth is that they still have to grow big in many markets. Even in the USA they still have a lot of room for growth, because, let’s be honest, many people still see them as meaningless KPop. Just as an example, think about Latin America. I know you don’t care to much about our countries, but they are very important for international musicians now days, and with some exceptions, like Mexico and Brasil, BTS still have to conquer those markets. That’s why Hybe is trying to get to them. But the competition is really hard. I guess that happens in Europe and other continents, as well. I want so much the opportunity to go to one of their concerts in my country, but I know that we need more fans. And they will have to use different opportunities to get them.
