As far as I know ( correct me if I am wrong) the event happened the same day as a Menudo concert and that's why the medical attention was so slow, they had to drive around the concert. I am from Puerto Rico, I do not like the fact of the murder, but it gets on my nerve that people think it was a conspiracy involving every single person in the island.

Tony's account over the years has been, IMHO, probably the most reliable of any of the witnesses at the time (outside, obviously Invader's knowledge). He even has stated he didn't see the stabbing itself transpire, but has basically said it's really a simple matter of adding 2+2 what probably happened in the showers. And he is quite verbal and consistent of what he remembers having transpired afterwards (which has lined up with Dutch Mantell's recollections pretty solidly--and you'll note both of those guys WANTED to testify at the trial). While perspectives can differ (and unfortunately, memories can obviously fade and alter--one of the toughest aspects about witness accounts) but the fact that when Dutch hears aspects of Tony's recollections you always hear Dutch say: "Yeah, that sounds right. Tony wasn't full of shit." at least on the most salient details.

Dark side of the ring's Brody episode was incredible! If anyone that sees this hasn't seen that, it's a must watch! On one end it's terribly sad to hear his family and close friends, on the other end it was disgusting listening to Carlos on there and here, quite a bit of the footage of him here is what's on there. Talk about someone who after things come to light should have his hof status revoked immediately, just my opinion, the way it was handled was, to quote the late great Gorilla Monsoon, a miscarriage of justice. I was 8 when it happened, never saw Brody actually wrestle and read bout it in probably pro wrestling illustrated, but I remember not seeing it as a big deal only cuz I'd never seen him. But it's such a heart wrenching story.

I believe this Carlos fella...he seems like an honest, good hearted guy who's telling the truth. Tony Atlas is obviously lying! Ok, fine. I'm full of shit! Seeriously, this dude is an accomplice to Pre-Meditated 1st Degree Murder...OF COURSE he's gonna lie! Carlos was never tried...there's no Statute of Limitation on Murder...if he admitted to anything about the murder that could implicate himself he could be tried for Conspiracy to Commit Murder...even after all these years. He ain't sayin shit!

Tony Atlas is known for telling tall tales, but I believe every second of what he did and says about this.

The American wrestlers bottled it.I think Its bullshit that they got the court letters late.They could've kept in contact with the prosecutor or I'm sure many other ways to guarantee they testified.Its a cop out.

You know what's funny about this? Puerto Ricans ARE Americans, & have been official U.S. citizens since the Jones-Shafroth Act of 1917.

The three of them are so lucky the us federal government didn't get involved in that whole affair because they'd all be on federal death row waiting for their own last ride.

Dr Gonzalez was a general medicine practicioner that assisted to ALL WWC events back in the day. Most wrestlers that were there that day stated that indeed Dr Gonzalez gave medical attention to Brody. The problem was that it appeared Brody had a punctured lung and the wound was bubbling blood, signal of lung issues. He needed a surgeon. I think thats the "discrepancy" with the doctor story, brother.
@truesoulghost2777Ай бұрын
Not lung. That has been said before but i don’t know if his lung was even touched. He was talking. It was that his liver had been slashed and that is all she wrote on that note.

At the trial I've read that they used match's footage to show Brody as a dangerous man! WTF! They wanted Brody to be dead before ambulance came in! Strange for a sporting event that no ambulances on stand-by near!
@wbb59544 жыл бұрын
I know it must have been a chaotic scene, but always have found it strange that nobody asked Brody what happened. From all reports, Brody was conscious and communicating. Atlas also rode in the ambulance to the hospital with him. I don’t think Colon has any self awareness how bad he comes off looking in this interview. Truly takes a sociopath to profit off a person who you at minimum had a hand in covering up his murder.

Because everyone is lying, that's why. Nobody cared for Brody because he was just a big bully!
@MoRTiCiUS13 Жыл бұрын
@@uiu510 tf? How was he a bully? Do you actually believe homie was as crazy as he put on in the ring? Dude was literally admired by all of his peers, hell watch Dark Side of the Ring, it's a real tearjerker to see the love and compassion they had and to say it's all fake is just ignorant asf lol

You want to see something wild? Well Ox Baker was a friend of Brody. Watch the video of Ox Baker literally killing Invader in the ring with legit heart punches for revenge. Baker literally stands outside the ring and watches him die. He was revived in the hospital, but spent several months before being discharged. That heat was legit...🔥

It was over money was owed to Brody. Invader No.1 was following Colon’s orders.

Colon seems to be covering his own butt. He didn't see anything and didn't want to assume any responsibility in case he got sued for any money since it was his company. He even denied that Brody asked him to take care of his family so he wouldn't even have to give any support to Brody's wife and Son. Sad all the way around and Colon is such a liar. I would never wrestle for him or Invader. Scum the both of them. Brody made so much money for them and they treated him like a dog. Sad situation all the way around.
