@@armandogarza3423 The defense attorney pushed the narrative that Brody was an out of control, drug addict, who couldn't be reasoned with & bc of his size, Jose had no choice, but to use a knife. It makes no sense, whatsoever, but most people didn't have context bc the media coverage was very one sided. Atlas & Dutch, were supposed to testify for the prosecution, but Dutch got his court summons a day after the trial ended & Atlas, who was the main witness, conveniently never received his at all. The whole thing was a ish show. The more you learn about this case, the more infuriating it is. Jose didn't only leave the building, right after he stabbed Brody, presumably to dump the knife that's never been found, but he also wrestled that same night!! Smh

Not only is Mrs. Goodish polite and articulate, she resists profanity and shouting. Hannibal could reinvigorate the stale medium of the shoot video with this concept of interviewing wrestler's wives! Well it only shows you are stupid. You call puertoricans ugly but we have in Miss universe, 5 winners, 7 runner-ups, 6 finalists and 2 semi-finalists. With 5 wins, Puerto Rico is the third country with the most wins behind USA (8 wins) and Venezuela (7 wins). In killers US is WAY up front in the charts.

Kathleen G I meant, none of the public. And that is way you are stupid, it is not a "ALL people" conspiracy. Of course Colon will not mention it. Murder is a crime with no date limitation, so if new evidence is "real" the case will re open, and "some" people, namely Colon, Gonzales will rather no new info out there. In my case like a LOT of people out there will like a clear resolution to the case. But do to the time and conflicting accounts is very unlikely to ever happened. So.....don't be a asshole to the people who had nothing to do whit it and be lovely to the world.

Kathleen G So???? You start the cycle again. If I am not wrong your cycle is: 1) Confuse every puertorican with Colon, Gonzales and think every one is connected to them. 2) Talk trash about Puerto Rico and his people. 3) Insult and spill racial "slang" 4) Mention the widow and his son. 5) Mention what ever grammar error and mock language. 6) Bring up God and religion at your favor. So, next post must be 5 again because you add 1,2,3,4 and 6 into one. Wao impressive you out done your self.

The Bourbon and Beefstake she mentioned was a great all night multi level venue that could of told many a tale of brawling and debauchery in Sydney's famed Kings Cross area. Bruiser Brody was wrestling in Australia around 1978 (just before it all unfortunately finished up) with people like Ox Baker, King Curtis, Bulldog Brower, Bugsy McGraw, Killer Karl Krupp, Butcher Branigan, Brute Bernard, Ali Vaseri( Iron Sheik?) occasionally Andre the Giant and champion Harley Race. Waldo Von Erich and locals such as Mario Milano, Ron Miller, Les Roberts and Larry O'dea. Brody was amazing and as a kid we were in awe of him! Enjoyed the book as well.

Bullying is misconstrued and vilified by people who are afraid of the painful reality of living in the real world. I've been bullied and brutally assaulted in my teenage years and I didn't seek revenge or murder my assailants. Professional wrestlers are built for violent action. As far as Jose Gonzales heinous crime is concerned, professional wrestling is def. not his calling in life. It's true that you should refrain from bullying a person who is too weak, too soft to endure the physical harm incurred by bullying because of the potential traumatic effects. Remember that what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

I believe him and Barnett got on pretty good too all in all, and he was happy to work for Sr. as long as the money was right too. He couldn't stand Gulas, Watts, or Jarrett though, and definitely wasn't out to make any promoter rich without getting his respect and what he thought was fair to him out of the deal. I wouldn't say he hated most of them, but he thought better than to trust most of the guys on the office side of wrestling. Which is wise, given what a pack of duplicitous, glad handing, fast talking, hustling ass carny shysters many of them were, haha!

When will they make a movie about Bruiser Brody? Some people have said that Jason Momoa would be ideal to play the part of him in a movie of his life.

I am from Puerto Rico. Invader should be accused and prosecuted. Justice is long overdue. All my respect to Brody and his family. He made a great contribution to the development and popularity of wrestling on the island.

@@merccadoosis8847 I have made that point for years. They complain that the court order were late, but it was there interest to testify in the case not the other way around

Heads up, fuckers!!! The VICE channel (subsidiary of HBO) came to Austin last week to interview my bud Geoff Goodish and they also flew in his mom Barbara. So keep an eye out for their coverage of Bruiser's murder and legacy! (I don't know if it will be part of their regular series or a special documentary...) Reply

I was luck to have seen him wrestle back in the 70's..He was as big and rough as they depicted.

Bruiser Brody vs Hulk Hogan would have been the most epic wrestling match in history.
