@XJ0461C7 жыл бұрын
QyroCorp He never forced him to do anything. As Gideon said in their next dinner scene, he was already dead so there was nothing he had to do at that point. He chose to eat the meals because he was being a good sport and Hannibal fascinated him.
@Shannon-vv6rrАй бұрын
@@XJ0461Cyes he did. Gideon tries to ask to refuse and Hannibal replies "You don't." It's pretty obvious that he has no choice. After that he just gave up and conceded. Probably because he's a psychopath aswell.

HopperDragon Both the director and the writer of the original book said that Hannibal isn’t a psychopath. His obsession with Will is a big show of his psychology and psychopathy just doesn’t fit.
@kylevillagomez94755 жыл бұрын
@@alex-vg3tm How is he not a psychopath? At the very least he has anti personality disorder. He has lack of empathy, he is a master class manipulator, he has a need to cause bodily harm to others and inflict psin, a deviant of the utmost. He is not a sociopath as sociopaths have a tendency of rage and impatience. He is definitely a psychopath.
@alex-vg3tm5 жыл бұрын
Kyle Villagomez All of those are human traits. You can have a lack of empathy and be a good manipulator without having ASPD. He has psychopathic tendencies for sure, but he's not a psychopath. Again, the writer of the book the show is based on the director of the show both said that Hannibal is not a psychopath. Hell, even Mads (the actor who plays Hannibal) portrays him more as Satan himself then an actual psychopath. One of the main points is that he’s virtually in love with Will. He clearly cares about him, shedding a tear when “killing” him and even sacrifices himself to the FBI so Will knows where he is. The show itself repeatedly states he’s not one, but “something else” and that they can’t pin point what his disorder actually is. Hannibal was traumatized when he witnessed the killing and cannibalism of his beloved sister Mischa. That’s why he acts the way he does.
