I'm so glad Raggy brought up the issue about Beverly ad what she found in that cellar. I still wonder about that scene. It seemed like it was more than just some dead bodies maybe. There was always something about her facial expression that always got to me. We do know that Hannibal had that cochlear garden in what appeared to be the lower level of his home.But I always had the sense that there was much more. I still hope we will get to see.

There was the 1980's "Manhunter" then millennium (post-2000) "The Red Dragon" and now this version! It includes changing the race of the blind woman from white to black, serving "deep red" cherry pie! In context to Hannibal's statement reds are turned black in the moonlight!

remember what happened to freddy in the red dragon movie. phillip seymour hoffman did not fare well. i believe the dragon tortured him before setting him on fire.
