Really interesting to see the Lakeside area of Hanoi. I stayed there in 1997 and there were no glitzy lights and it wasn't very Westernised. It reminds me now of Saigon which I visited in 2018. Enjoy the chaos and noise 🤣.

@@danny_and_diggy It's usually the overseas Viets whom make this type of comments. Or people influenced by them. The Western vloggers I've seen that visit absolutely love Hanoi over HCMC. Hanoi doesn't pretend to be Western like Saigon. It has a charm that Saigon will never have and it has all the culture, tradition, architecture, etc. It's what Western vloggers seek, not another concrete jungle trying to be all hip and cool and "modern".
