Hanover Tavern Annual Giving Fund

The success of the Hanover Tavern Foundation is tied directly to the financial and participatory support provided by you.
Your gifts help us protect and interpret the historic tavern and give back to the community through outreach, events, and educational programming, all important aspects of the mission of Hanover Tavern Foundation.
Over the course of a year, the Tavern:
-Hosts 2,500 students for our annual field trip!
-Engages thousands of students with in-classroom programs​
-Delivers cultural arts through live professional theater
-Partners with other non-profits and local schools to help them raise thousands of dollars for their programs and outreach
-Donates the use of the E. J. Wade Coach House for the annual Salute to Our Heroes, a Hanover County Sheriff’s Office Recognition event.
-Presents Hanover AutumnFest, a free admission family-friendly fall festival with food, live music, and activities for the kids.
-Provides a free continuing education summer learning program for local Public School teachers.
