Thank you for sharing this! I was born in 3rd generation JW on both sides of my family. My wife and I thankfully woke up together and just disassociated in early January. We are so glad that we followed our intuition and started researching. We found out why the organization says not to look at apostate information. Because they have the real facts about the org. I told my wife, if it is the truth, we have nothing to be concerned about. We quickly found out how far from the truth it is and what an evil, corrupt organization it really is.

@@GeoffreySplaneChannel Yes. It was a huge shock, but waking up also explained many inconsistencies. When one has money, but the other doesn't, then Watchtower will always back the one who has the money. It's not rocket science. And, God never had anything to do with Watchtower's "decrees".

OMG! I believe this is the same Hans Jurgen Orban that studied with me when I was stationed in Germany while serving in the U.S. Army. Would have been about late 1989 He was preaching house to house in Sommerhausen and noticed my USA license plate on my motorcycle and so he looked for non German names on doorbells. The rest is history. I subsequently progressed to baptism and was in for 30 years. I'm out 1 year now. I would love to chat with Hans if you could connect us. Talk about coincidence.

Excellent interview … I’m proud of Mr Hans; it takes “cojones” for a high profile “special pioneer” come out from “The Watchtower” and denounce its falsehood. When I was a “ministerial servant”, the Watchtower would continuously hammered the altered/ modified John 17:3 …. they taught us that we had the “perfect knowledge”, that “mentally We Had Superior Knowledge of God” …. remember that crap ? 💩 …. That made us arrogant, and “specials” …. I bet you that out there, there are thousands of Jehovah Witnesses that have realized they are “living a lie” but their “hubris” are stopping them from denouncing Watchtower’s fraud. Their tongues have been chopped, and fear is their tombstone !!!!

Hans situation sounds a lot like my own, I was babtized in 1974 when they convinced me that the end would come in 1975. Nearly everyone in the small congregation I attended believed this. I woke up in 2017 after watching the ARC findings, I simply faded away and never went back. Sadly, my wife and family are still in, the power of this cult cannot be overstated. Bless you my brothers, we now believe only in Christ for salvation. John 14:6

Whem I read comments of born-in exjws who say that they enjoyed much of their life as a JW, they often include something to the effect that they never fully believed in Watchtower. And then I think, "Yes. THAT'S the reason that you "enjoyed" so much of your life! I believed all the Watchtower lies, and they ruined my life. There's little comparison in the experience between someone who believed the Watchtower lies and someone who merely "went along for the ride".

Thank you Hans for sharing your story. I realized what you are realizing now back in 1980. When I became a mother I did not what to bring my daughter up in the JW org. As I knew it wasn't the truth. I was disfellowshipped as well and lost my family. My mother and sister have shunned me for 45 years. It's was very painful. So many of us have lived your story. So glad you woke up and are helping other people who have been persecuted.

JW's study the Watchtower mag. As an ex elder I would go on shepherding calls. I would ask the friends what is your favorite scripture. 😮 most answered with the most common scripture we hear all the time. Also I would ask where are you in your Bible reading. 😮 I found very few did there daily Bible reading. I visited a dear older sister in the hospital and she had wonderful answers to these questions but she was a rare one.

@vitisbp1131 Yes, exactly, word got around that if I go on a shepherding call. I asked biblical questions. I'm out now because the Governing body's new light overlapping generation. It was not a Bible teaching. I couldn't explain it. Much less understand it myself.

@@al6347 Funny you'd mention that particular teaching. Here's my story. I hadn't woke up yet, but I hadn't been to meetings either. A pioneer sister, with another sister, came to my door. I asked, very innocently, the pioneer sister to explain "overlapping generation" to me. She did. I replied that I was going to have to think about that, and I asked her to come back to see me. She NEVER CAME BACK. I had honestly been trying to "understand" the new "understanding", but apparently my sincere effort to understand it scared the two sisters. (I'm an elderly female, btw.)

The safe question would be, "What is your favorite Watchtower book?" I loved the 1950's front of the Paradise book. The cover was embossed and as a 5 year old during those boring meetings, I would put a blank paper on it's cover and drag a crayon over it, producing Adam and Eve in a paradise with a pet lion! I knew then that YHWH was my Father in heaven. 70 years later, I still look forward to that day when all things are made new through Jesus Christ.

Same here after 40 years. Now we follow Jesus and John 6. The memorial is real, for us too. Nowhere in the bible it said that you have to be a onlooker at the memorial. It iz for forgiveness of sin and to remember!!!! Come to Jesus.

I have a question about all the multitudes of ex JW’s who all state they now just worship Jesus . They all pray for Holy Spirit upon reading the Bible . Why is it then that they all get different understandings of Scripture if the Holy Spirit is guiding them?? They’re not even all united about their belief about Jesus’ identity. Some still believe He is Gods Son as taught by the Witnesses while others have gone back to the Trinity Doctrine. The bottom line is that really they’re are all very disunited except for their belief in Jesus Doesn’t the scripture say at 1 Cor 1;10 that there ‘should be no divisions among you, but that you may be completely united in the same mind and in the same line of thought”? If on leaving Jehovah’s witnesses all these people are still not united in this way does this not strongly indicate that they do not really have the Holy Spirit ( which is a Spirit of perfect order and unity?) I have big questions since Covid in regards to how that was handled by the Organisation and to a lesser degree some other things, but I also see what appears to be gaping holes in ex witness statements in many ways. One major thing is that many testify that they’ve suddenly ‘found Jesus’ after being JW’s for years?? This strongly suggests to me that they’re caught up in emotionalism or that they’ve never listened, studied or learnt much in all the time they spent as JW’s! After all JW’s have ALWAYS taught that Jesus Christ ransom is the only means of salvation . I’ve known this for 44 years so certainly don’t need to ‘find Jesus’ again!

I don't worship Jesus. And I don't believe the Trinity doctrine. I was, however, very mistreated by Watchtower. Watchtower is hypocritical in that it claims to give justice in its judicial meetings, but really just shells out decisions that benefit Watchtower and its "favorite sons". Those who believe that Watchtower's judicial decisions are guided by Jehovah are left scratching their heads at how a just God could make such stupid, illogical decisions. No wonder many exjws are now atheists. Not me! And not many other faithful, spiritual Christians. Watchtower is like the "tares"... not just lacking in nutrition, but actually poisonous.

@ I’m sorry to hear about your experience. I have no doubt that some are wrongly disfellowshipped especially a few years ago. On the other hand I’ve known of many that make it clear they’re going to continue breaking Gods Laws ( not the Organisations) but then cry foul when they are removed. These ones knew all along from the very beginning what consequences there’d be if they ever deliberately and unrepentantly chose to pursue a sinful course, (ie that they’d be removed) but then cried to everyone how terribly they’d been treated as they really wanted it both ways, ie to do exactly as they liked but remain accepted by everyone regardless . I still believe that it makes total sense to remove people that commit repeated gross sins as otherwise the congregations would all be totally eventually corrupted by these people within them. This is what happens within many churches as many turn a blind eye to anything going on in favour of keeping their numbers and contributions. Saying that I have no idea what your issues were and I’m sorry if you had to deal with unreasonable men that made a wrong decision. I’m also very glad you don’t worship Jesus in place of His father . I’ve read of many, however that have returned to that false doctrine

Many of us have always believed in Jesus as the son of the living God, but Watchtower did not allow us to worship in spirit and in truth. You need to follow them and their protocols for salvation, Jesus becomes of less value than their Governing Body of men. I do know that for certain, Jesus is the way the truth and the life.
