the original singer Lisa Gerrard said that the lyrics to this song were her own language, basically gibberish, like what very young children use to sing songs... She is quoted as saying that it's "her own special language, and is one she has had since she was a child, and how she "talks to God."

Welcome to the world of Hans Zimmer. I've been listening to film scores since I was young and Hans is one of my idols. If you would like to react to a cover of a Hans Zimmer song I would recommend Hans Zimmer - Chevaliers de Sangreal (Cello Cover) by ThatCelloGuy. Loved your reaction
@randar19692 жыл бұрын
The instruments are Hans Zimmer the notes of the instruments are Hans Zimmer one of the best composers of modern times that being said to call it a Hans Zimmer song is doing violence to Lisa Gerrard who created what she is singing. It's a creation from the both of them and both should be given credit in my humble opinion.

"Circle of Life/King of Pride Rock" from the same concert brings me to tears every single time. The male soloist in that sections FEELS what he is singing to the core and simply cherishes being on that stage. He alone is worth watching that bit, but everyone else is stellar too. It's my favourite of that whole amazing, epic, breathtaking show!!! With the Pirates of the Caribbean section as a very close second. xD

Well she destroys Lisa Gerard. Czarina Russell's version is a more haunting sound and just sendws you into a trance when you listen. She elevates the song to a whole new level. If Lisa Gerard was in her prime she maybe could compete with this. But I doubt it.. Thank you Czarina it was a performance of a life time.
