@@saragomezrodriguez4203 life surelly exists on other planets, but most of the times it's not sentient. Sentient life is most precious thing in universe, much more important than non-sentient life. So we *are* more important than nature. someday we will learn how to do less harm to nature, and it's not said that other life in universe would be less agressive than humans (I guess if they were less aggressive they would just not survive).

I first watch it in 2020, have watched it four times since. I live in France and this October our local cinema screened it for a week, in English. Every day was sold out, I took my 15 year old son to watch it, front row Dolby sound. You could hear a pin drop, no one spoke, no one opened a crisp/sweet packet nothing, it was magical I think the best experience I’ve ever had at the cinema.

I’m 25 years of age now but when this movie released I was 15 and for some strange reason I never sat down to watch this movie until not too long ago and now having a 4 year old daughter and watching this film makes me realize the universe works in very mysterious ways. If I would’ve watched this movie back in 2014 I wouldn’t have understood and felt the true meaning of this movie. I will watch my daughter grow with much joy if the universe conspires in my favor 🤞🏼

Hans Zimmer’s Cornfield Chase from Interstellar is pure brilliance. The haunting melody perfectly captures the feeling of hope, urgency, and the vast unknown of space. A soundtrack that lingers long after the movie ends ✨

Before starting production on this movie Christopher Nolan visited Hans Zimmer at his home. He told Hans he had an idea for his next movie but wanted to hear the score first. Nolan told Zimmer to write a song about a boy and his father playing catch. Each time the boy catches the ball he grows another year older, but the father doesnt notice until his son is fully grown. This is the song Zimmer wrote. A fuckin masterpiece.

U see, both the events where necessary for human future and both where free will, and took place at the same moment. this is breathtaking. So,t contradicts free choice which gives way to fate which is totally non-science .

This movie was quite the experience for me. I was on a night flight from Brazil to Florida, its the first time i ever flew, and every once in a while i would look down the window and see all the lights and the horizon and this soundtrack started playing. Everyone in the plane was sleeping and i was crying silently, realizing how small we are and how much we have to learn. Thats not the only thing, my girlfriend was an exchange studdent and she would leave 2 weeks after i came back to Brazil, and i missed her so much, i felt so lonely up there. It was trully a mind bending experience.

*It's 5:46 AM. And yes like all you curious, sad, happy and depressed people we all are together listening to this masterpiece. This track means something special. We only remember it on a special purpose. So, here we are. Enjoy every bit of joy and learn from every bit of pain. You might think it's a dream, people might force you to accept the reality. But, their definition of life is based on the beliefs of people around them. But, life has actually no specific meaning. You are the one who defines it. Doesn't matter who you are or what your dream is. Keep pushing yourself, you will reach your destiny.* *Maybe our path isn't the same neither our destination. But, that music unites all of us as a dreamer. Wish you very good luck. And always remember failure is the ultimate fate we all share. So, keep pushing yourself till the end* *ONE DAY YOUR WHOLE LIFE WILL FLASH IN YOUR EYES IN YOUR LAST BREATH. MAKE SURE IT'S WORTH WATCHING- Geard Way*

i saw interstellar as a freshman in highschool. we watched it in my biology class and although everyone was just goofing around, and it was a sci-fi, the pure imagination of cosmic science and mathematics made me feel so interested and sucked into loving these subjects. i spent much of my highschool years skateboarding and working on cars, afraid to just nerd out on things like math, science, space, physics, etc. but here I am now, a college freshman in the school of engineering studying mechanical engineering, and again, although its a sci fi movie, the thought of human advancement in technology and mechanics and space all have a huge place in my heart. not sure who's going to see this, or care, but just thought i'd share for my fellow "nerds" on this one.

I used to think my purpose for life is to do things what my religion said..but after learning about science , astronomy , evolution and so many other fascinating topics i decided to be an atheist..
