Thank you for your comment. I completely agree with you about old Zimmer's soundtracks. I would add to this list Rain Man, The Rock, Backdraft, Days of Thunder, K2. Kingdom of Heaven ( thank you for reminding me this movie ) is a beautiful soundtrack but is composed by Harry Gregson-Williams. @@kinomuzyk ah, thank you for the info! Though Hans was heavily involved with Pirates and Kingdom of Heaven, wasn't he? I seem to remember the early releases of those films credited him... or is that a Mandela effect? Didn't he do Thelma and Louise?? Hannibal and Kingdom of Heaven both have Vide Cor Meum in them, which is one of my favourite pieces of all time, though I know Hans didn't write it! Apparently, there is an opera coming out based around that piece called Dante.

I remember reading somewhere that Clive Owen had never been on a horse before this movie. He & all the other knights seemed so comfortable and at one with their horses that I was shocked to read this.

It's in the extra content that they were trained for several months how to ride a horse and how to use the weapons they were using by professionals. I thought that was really interesting. You can probably find the interviews somewhere. It was really neat seeing them training. I believe the archer that was training them was an olympian athlete, although I am not sure. It has been years since I saw them.

Knights March theme and The Rock's soundtrack remind me of my people. I'm from the Kurdistan region of Iraq, and my grandfather was a Peshmerga commander until he was martyred in 1986. My village is known for its martyrs. Even though they weren't the most skilled fighters, they compensated with courage and bravery. We have a saying: 'The tree of freedom thrives only when nourished by the blood of the brave.' If it weren't for them, I wouldn't be writing this comment.

Definitely. My only complaint would be the lack of Welsh involved. King Arthur was one of the main figures in the Britons (Welsh) uniting under the name “Cymru” and “cymry” which means “fellow countrymen” even to this this day we still fly the flag of y ddraig goch 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 the dragon of Arthur.

For in my ignorant youth I knew not what Artur meant when he asked if I knew what it is to be sword sworn was.....he told me that the people who serve you-you in fact serve. Defend the helpless, protect the old, the young and the women. The blacksmith fashions defense and weapons, the common folk harvest the crops and the women bear all with fortitide and run the farms when the men are away. They serve you, but without you and your protection they would not be able to provide for you.
