Its just like a bird singing ..... Sitaaaaa Ram I don't know the name of this bird i didn't see him since last 17 years i miss this bird so much i was a kid when i woke up with her voice. This bird used to sing mostly in morning between 7 am and 9 am. Some times in afternoon also at that time no other birds sings so her voice was very clear. Sound is a ... whistle with twists that ends saying "Sitaaaa Ram".

Hummingbirds hover at their food source but Sunbirds perch to sip the nectar. Hummingbirds are closely related to swifts, whereas Sunbirds are closely related to crows. Sunbirds are found in Africa and Asia, while Hummingbirds are restricted to the Americas.

I think many species of sunbird enterbreed with other sunbird species. I’ ve seen many sunbirds with very unique color combinations.

Thankyou for the question. Variable Sunbird is commonly found in Africa, especially sub-saharan Africa. They are not common in India, only one male Variable Sunbird was rarely sighted from Jamkhambhaliya, Jamnagar district (Gujarat).
