It's great to hear from you. On February 24th of this year, they found a mass on the tip of my pancreas, It was confirmed 8 days later I had the beginning stage of pancreatic cancer. I did 12 chemos over the last 6 months and just finished 5 days of radiation. The chemo is actually 4 different ones and the 4th one I take home in a pump. My chemo day usually lasts about 7 hours. I get wiped out and sick for about 5 or 6 days. I was finally approved for an 8 hour surgery called a wipple procedure where they remove the mass and some veins reconstructed. I'll then have 6 more months of chemo. You are correct that our lives have changed forever. You are so brave documenting your journey and sharing it with us. You've got this!

I’m glad you are here and still fighting . When you feel down , always remember that while we are alive , we still have hope, so keep fighting. Cancer sucks including treatments because of side effects. My doctor already put me in hospice but since I promise that I’m not going to die without a fight, I m trying a clinical trial medication at UCSF which has a chance to work or not to work but in life , it is not about winning or losing but knowing in your heart that you tried your best.
