Even though I was a metal head when Hanson broke, I always respected them. They played their own instruments and wrote their own songs, which makes them actual musicians, instead of glorified dancers who do karaoke like so many other pop acts.

I love Hanson so much. They've really worked so hard their entire lives (they make all their own music, have their own record label, they do all the merchandise, website, music videos, microbrewery, touring, the list goes on and on), sacrificed countless hours away from their wives and kids to bring us joy. And they are so REAL, I watched a couple videos about their families and you can just feel the love they have for their children (like all parents do) in these photos. Ah I just love everything about them. Every time I hear their music (whether I'm at home, in the car, or in a store) it still makes me scream, laugh, sing, and dance! Hanson for Life!

Taylor still taking over Zac in every interview after all these years...
@millennialsmusicmix7 жыл бұрын
Taylor is like the frontman of the group (not just the lead vocals) when it comes to these types of interviews. In other types of interviews though like least formal ones (QnA's/ Who's Who), it's the other guys who are speaking more. No hate. They're brothers, and if it works for them why should we even question?
@sunsetwinds7 жыл бұрын

@stephaniel28507 жыл бұрын
I really is pretty amazing, thinking about it- I feel like there probably aren't many bands out there who have lasted 25 years of working together with no significant hiatus! And I could imagine it being even more of a tricky road to navigate as siblings since you obviously wouldn't want it to get to a point where any tensions that are there become so bad that it becomes a risk of permanently damaging the familial relationships. They did have some definite tension (per their own acknowledgment) back around 2012 or so while they were working on their last full length album, but it makes me so happy that after just a brief break to let things cool off, they came through it fine and seem to be ready for many more decades to come of making awesome music together

Such respect! MMMBop put those boys on the big time music map and they don't forget it. Good on them. What they are doing now would not exist without that first hit song of theirs. And let that be a lesson to all successful people: The past that made you is today and your future.

I am a huge Hanson fan from India. I started listening to them when I was 14 and still love their albums at 33. I now make my 3 year old listen to them. I have always enjoyed their interviews, but somehow while watching this, I couldn't help but feel bad for Zac. Does anyone else feel that mostly when Zac tries making a point, he gets cut off entirely by Tay or Isaac? I really feel that interviews should be about equality and Zac has as much a right as Tay or Isaac to speak up!

Great interview, but I am surprised they didn't mention their parents as far as how they avoided the pitfalls of fame. From when I've seen and heard, their parents were involved and around and keeping a watchful eye on them, especially when they first made it big as minors. I think this went a long way toward keeping them sane and grounded. Too many times with child stars, their parents just give up and let their managers/roadies take over raising their kids (i.e. Justin Bieber) Good for their parents for not, and continuing to live in their hometown, I think this made a big difference in how they turned out...
