I think Mitch is so distinct in his mannerisms, his voice, his passion. I always find it funny when people think he’s a new person. I’m very drawn to him specifically so maybe that’s why I’ve always known it was him. I adore his uniqueness!!!

For us Pentaholics, our 'familiar' with Mitch has always pretty much been 'whatever Mitch wants to do on the day ' haha....We just don't get surprised anymore - His hair especially has changed so much over the years that he actually confuses a lot of newer reactors and they think he's a new member ! I love that you weren't surprised that he was the one under the 'veil' you didn't even comment on it... see what I mean ? He's a chameleon, We just love him 😊

It is emotional to see them together (even if it was back in Sept ‘19). What a stunning visual representation of that moment we’ve all experienced where we thought life was headed in a direction, only to discover an unexpected change was lurking around the corner. (Looking at you COVID-19) The veil of confusion & hurt does slowly, eventually slip off and with it the guilt that might try to linger, allowing us to embrace a new direction, a new adventure, a new relationship, to find color in life again.... and be happy! I think it was mentioned in some interviews that it is about turning the next page. Though other article mentioned that according the lyrics it is moving on after breakup.

It seems to represent the grieving process, wanting to move on but feeling guilty. Mitch as a “ghost” the rain on the window, showing the sorrow. the flowers blooming and the burst of colors all representing coming out of the grieving of a loved one. Ending in Mitch in full color “giving permission to move on. Ending bright and happy and the lost loved one dancing in the background. Just my take on it though.

I believe this starts in the midst of colorless sadness of a breakup, asking would it ok to be happy now? I wanna be happy now. Then they give themselves permission to be happy and the world becomes colorful again.

Great reaction! To me this song is about making sure you are happy with yourself. And to love yourself. Like the song asks, “Am I happy now? I really liked what you said about Mitch. When you talked about how people liked familiar things, that's true, but I also think what people like even more is familiarity with a spark of something new. That way it's comfortable and safe, but at the same time, it doesn't get boring. And I think for the most part the rest of Pentatonix members are that familiarity and safety, so Mitch could go and be that spark of excitement of something new. Kirstie occasionally joins him.

These guys are phenomenal at what they do, if only they did more. Their harmonies and blends are legendary, but they're a bit too restricted in what they do. If they explored more, and tried other genres, they'd be even greater.

I'm not a big fan of Mitch's mullet. I do like his long hair but, he needs to let the rest grow out to look right. It kinda reminds me of Joe dirt actually. The makeup he and Scott are wearing is something new to me. They must have been watching James Charles's makeup tutorials. I do love me some shiny gold on black though. I dug the jacket. To me it looked like the color came out of Matt when he did that amazing drop then it came through the window to hit Scott. Great reaction once again. I really enjoy them. This one is not difficult for me. They lost one of their original members in the fall of 2017 from burnout and it has taken a long time to get past it and get their new band member fully integrated into their music. It seems to have come together now grief is over and the new band is moving on.
