really? poor grasp of the kings english and anything multisylabic was butchered.

I got the impression it was a robot reader. They are getting so good now that you can hardly distringuish between them and human readers, but they miss the intonation of the text. For example .. "I didn't do it" Response : "You *_did_* Emphasis on "did" "I don't know who did this" Response *_You_* did" Emphasis on "you" - This reader missed the emphases on several occasions that I noticed.. I also noticed it reading "He hit him on the head with a 2 x 4" - which should be read "two by four", but was read "two ex four", which gives it away as a robot. You wouldn't go into a hardware store and ask for "a piece or two ex four, please" There are also several other instances that I don't recall where mild humour in a sentence was completely missed by the reader. I don't agree with the assessment of "excellent narration" - but then, I didn'tlike the book either. I found the chapter after chapter of wading through blood and gore to be completely boring, and I got about 3/4 of the way through and gave up.

Bill, you need to know that you cannot spell at all. I am not poking fun at you, I am just giving you a heads up, if you are not aware of it. My uncle could not read or write all the way thru High School, yet back then they just graduated you. My Nanny had to do his homework for him. While he was serving in Vietnam, he learned to read and write on his own for the most part. He must have had some help from another Marine, but I think the sheer brutality of that war just made him learn to escape mentally at times. Best of luck man.

I quite enjoy these stories, but could I ask nicely please, that the Author NOT use the Name of my Lord Jesus Christ as a curse word? I mean, one NEVER hear Allah or Budha or any of the other gods' names mentioned as a curse word? Why Jesus Christ? Other than that I like the stories and an A++ to the Narrator. Get over yourself, Jesus , Jesus Christ, Christ almighty, holy shit are just part of modern language used to convey surprise, awe, wonder sometimes disgust. My favourite is ‘Christ on a bike!’ . As far as i know there’s not parallel phrases for other deities from other religions that an author could use ?

I haven't read this but I'm sure its filled with fictional violence and other things. Maybe people are killed? Tortured? And we're worried about a religious figure's name taken as a curse word? Its the very 1st amendment. Dont like it, don't read/listen to it. Its actually unbelievably arrogant. Some of the best works of literature have been deemed offensive so don't read those either.. .

If you like lots of blood and violence, you'll like this book - some guy going about shooting everything he sees - bullets passing through bodies, lining people up so as to be able to kill two with a single bullet, breaking bones fingers being snapped with pliers, heads exploding into a mist, etc, etc. It's *_very_* American, with so much blood and guts that I found it complettely boring, and didn't persevere till the end.
