Not a mini, but my Bobcat T190 has been the best tool I have bought for the homestead build. If you're on dirt/gravel/snow/mud you can't beat tracks as long as you have the right tread pattern!! @carlmclelland76249 ай бұрын
WELL, it looks like you got a new toy, hey? I've never operated one of these so it's hard to say if I like it, or not. The downside of skidsteers for me is the lack of visibility around and behind you. Standing on the unit solved that problem. The spring loaded platform you stand on... I'm guess the machine stops if you step off or are thrown off. That's a good safety feature. One thing, you had an exceptionally high center of mass when you lifted two logs high enough to put them on the stack. I would suggest moving very slowly under those conditions lest you roll it on its side. I'm guessing you can get the adapter/attach plates so you can adapt other equipment to it; i.e. your rotary mower, a blade, grapple... well, basically anything you could attach to a skidsteer. Take your time to learn the machine, and enjoy it!! Now, we need to get you into a good used, Kubota KX-040 excavator.... I'm guessing the crawlers are tensioned by springs, rather than a grease filled ram, like your mini-ex. Keep an eye on their tension. You don't want to roll the crawlers off their rollers and sprockets making tight turns at low speed.
@sawingwithsandy9 ай бұрын
Hey Carl! Thanks for checking out the new machine. Yeah there's a tonne of attachments for this including adapter plates to run larger attachments on them from things like skid steers or tractors. It sure is going to get a lot of use as it's really nice for might trails
