cinder and breeze are BACK and STILL GAY
i won't detail their backstory like last time, but this video contains references to my old video, Two Birds (which has a lot of context in the description), and my friend Devils' video, Lost in You. i'll be including the link to those two further down! :D
this took me a few years to make purely because i'm terrible at coming up with storyboards, and couldn't think of stuff for certain parts for the LIFE of me until they'd just randomly hit one day haha. the actual art took less than a year and then editing literally took me two days, so.... it's obvious where the issue here lies pff
there's a hefty amount of symbolism in this (good luck catching all of it) but since i'm terrible at drawing flowers, i'll give away that the intro flowers are carnations!

devils asked me for it so i typed out most of the symbolism i remember :D there's still more than this but these are the most obvious ones! 1. flower language. yellow carnations signify rejection and disappointment. red signifies either admiration/feeling of "my heart aches for you", or deep love and affection depending on the shade. pink means gratitude and never forgetting someone. all color palettes were based off of these feelings 2. color palettes. as well as being tied to carnations, they're also tied to the color of their blood and, eventually, them shaking off the values they put in their blood color to meet in the dream world. 3. eye color. their eyes stay the same through it all because at the end of the day, they're always the same cat deep down 4. blood color. their blood color doesnt change because, like their eye color, is apart of them and is who they are. 5. breeze is on the left, cinder is on the right. the left is viewed as the political left, and the right as political right. break it down to get liberal and conservative removed from politics. breeze is fighting for reform and seeks out change, cinder is scared and more reserved to the thought of said change. they meet in the middle in the dream world
