Husband Steve says I have officially achieved Kyle-level dorkdom - I DID do the actual high, high five. I know you guys like all the social interaction...we have opted for more nature - have spent the last six months exclusively in National campgrounds. No sewer hook-ups but they all have dumps. Here at Holly Bay in London, KY, right on our site, we have witnessed two baby barred owls leaving the nest under mom and dad's watchful eyes. What a treat! You are still our favorite TV show. Wife and I plan to sell our house in SoCal this year. After researching places to live in the country, we're now thinking about doing a lot of traveling to find a comfortable area. @@nelladavis4418 Thanks for asking. I organized hundreds of videos into playlists on so many nuances of RV life. Our conclusion is, as the title here says, that RV living isn't for everyone. We simply don't have the patience, time, skill, or money that are required for this great lifestyle. It's alluring, but we know our limitations. I'm not that guy who can fix things when they're broke. RV's need a lot of maintenance, and that can be costly. At this time we're thinking of renting something small for short local trips, and doing that a few times with longer trips as we learn and get more comfortable. By renting we avoid many of the long-term financial challenges, and we get a chance to find the size that's right for us. I still don' think we'll sell the house for an RV lifestyle, but I would certainly enjoy RVing as an occasional hobby. HTH

Love your channel, I don't think I ever want to be full time, but in a year and a half or so we intend to do half time. Doing month to 3 month trips besides our weekends multiple times a year, you all seem like, a fun people hope to meet you in our future travels.

I remember pulling into Tampa AFB for a weekend in our R-Pod 180 couples trailer during the onset of a tropical storm. I got out of the truck to guide my husband onto the lot. We had 2 small dogs that were terrified of the storm. We could either stay in the truck for the next 15 minutes or make a rush for the pod, so I insisted we go for it since I was soaked anyway. We got settled quickly (not much but put the slide out), but we quickly realized the storm was not passing quickly. The entire evening was thunder, lightening, and me scratching my ankles like crazy from red ant bites!

We so wish we could have done full time RVing this at your age. Remote and traveling work just wasn't common in our careers back in the day. We've been tent camping, truck camping, travel trailer and now on our second 5th wheel in the last 42 years and love it. So glad you met some friends and had a good week hanging out. I subscribe to many rv channels but you guys quickly rose to the top. We are planning a cross country trip from our home base in FL to CA. The concentration will be in Utah. We are not letting the price of gas deter our plans. We will off set the expense by slowing it down and boondocking about 1/2 the time. Taking about 7 weeks which will be our longest trek to date! We are full timers for 11 years. The last six years we have spent the winters in the BLM LTVA in Winterhaven CA. Before that we moved every two to three weeks around different BLM land. We prefer boondocking to RV parks, I guess we are hicks at heart. I love your channel, it always gives me a smile.

Thursday night, our seasonal campground started to flood. I had to run around inside/outside for about an hour total to clean up, pack up, unhook and get her on the truck to pull to safety. Today (Sunday) the campground is inaccessible as the entire park is under water. We are fortunate we got our camper out, but it was definitely not rainbows and sunshine! Waiting for some good weather to allow the river to recess and dry up the water so we can hopefully get back out there (we live at the park in the summer, and being at the sticks and bricks is just odd this time of year).

Maverick and Nash are therapy dogs for a reason! They help build and crazy glue the crazy RV community together! It's so cute that Dexter likes Nashies! LOL! IMO, there are no downsides to full-timing. There are always new friends, new experiences, old friends, fabulous scenery, and real-life challenges between the bouts of loneliness and reflection. Modern-day RV 'gypsies' live the magic every single day. Appreciate it!

So I had a quick space saving tip , you will gain 1 whole cubic foot of you storage space by mounting air compressor to truck fram and hard wired could even add Air bags for the adjustable ride and mount a shchrader valave on rocker panel for airing the tires. You can even add a small air tank for the hanks under there! Best thing I ever did for my 1 ton

We are struggling getting our house and yard in shape for sale. Originally, June was the target date to place house on market; however, we have met every obstacle possible. The end of August seems more realistic. We want to go to Hershey Rv show in September to buy or order the Rv, but more likely we will have to wait for the Tampa RV show. We were going full time Rving, but had to change our mind. We are buying a small home to serve as a home base. We will Rv most the time. We are so behind in watching our favorite Rv you tubers, like yours. We are so tired by the end of day.. Someday, we will catch up.

Hey guys, FYI…my dog eats freeze dried duck heart treats but a quick caution…..since they are raw meat be sure to WASH YOUR HANDS after touching or you could spread bacterial just like any other raw meat can do. So wanted to make sure you know when handling. 😃

My girlfriend (also a travel nurse) and I are picking up our 5th wheel at the end of the month to hit the road full time by august. We super excited/nervous at the same time. Hope to see y’all on the road or meet up sometime!

We sat through torrential rain for a day at a park that was a couple of kilometres from a village. After boredom set in, we donned our rain gear and walked in to a craft beer place for a drink - best part of the storm. So, the moral of the story - when it rains a lot, drink.

Speaking of discounts, if you shop a lot at Walmart they give you 5% back everything, plus other small perqs, if you use a Walmart/Capital One credit card. Which is free.

hello again from around Montreal! sorry did not comment for a bit... So you asked what's up with us, well next week (May 18) it will be our first trip, shakedown, with our brand new cougar 22MLS that we ordered in May 2021! very excited about that. Camping season is starting over here with a BANG since we are living a record heat wave so early in the season. I hear ya on the loneliness. I've been full time for 4y, solo with 2 dogs. I am an introvert but going weeks w/o human interaction (boondocking) let alone a meaningful conversation gets very isolating especially with no cell service. I find myself being chatty at the grocery store and dump station, totally not me lol. It can and does lead to depression though so I know I need to check in with friends and family frequently. It's what I use FB for when I'm on the road, share my travels with them and at least have digital conversations. I imagine YT is like that for you. Love your videos and your humor, TY for sharing with us!
