Happiness Takes Work

We feel that so much right now. We're a newly discovered system (multiple people living in one brain and body) getting ready to file for divorce from a toxic, emotionally, and mentally abusive marriage. Our newfound freedom to do what makes us happy, to process the trauma of the "relationship", to experience life in a way we never would have been allowed to before is as intoxicating as it is terrifying. But seeing how hard you work on your health and happiness inspires us and gives us the courage to do the same. Thank you for being you - Mei, Adam, Harper

I can relate to the discomfort. I'm sometimes on edge and just waiting for mess to hit the fan. I usually don't trust it. But I try to be okay with the quiet that happiness can bring.
