My interpretation: Cup (the cat) passes many mirrors, which are all broken. Then, cup settles on the last intact mirror. The broken mirrors could mean times when cup failed, and now this mirror is the last straw. The end of the fuse for cup. Cup cannot feel happy anymore, and is taken over by Scribble (my nickname for the scribble monster). We see the Scribble Creator come out of cup, and she looks sad. The scribble creator confronts the creator, who seems frightened. This could mean that Cuptoast, the creator, doesn’t know who she is anymore. She sees her animator form and feels unattached to herself. Scribble creator cries and more eyes come out of her scribble. This has happened before in previous animations by cuptoast. It could represent her attempt to gain knowledge, or maybe the times she has gotten back up from failing. Edit: (after a comment somebody wrote) Scribble people are when you feel all knotted and messed up inside. Maybe her scribble form seeing her real form was like when her real self was looking in the mirror. I know that feeling. The “how did I get so… different?” When you’re not very different from the outside.

Yeah, I get what you means for the shattered images of herself. For me, I think my interpretation was different. Scribble scrabbles are common to draw when you feel like a mess and knotted. When she looks at herself, that's her physical appearance but when she looks inside herself, she feels like a monster? I dunno for sure. Anyways, thanks for reading!

i relate to these animations so much. existing mostly online showing an entirely different side of me to the people who have never even seen me in real life, and who i will probably never meet. its weird existing in a state of two people, switching so quickly from how you act in real life as opposed to online, still keeping some key features of yourself- but other things drastically different. your “amnesia was her name” animation also affected me the same way. having different ways that people perceive me as and looking myself in the mirror thinking “wow, this is what i look like. this is my real self, in real life.” not a character ive made up in my head, or a profile picture- but myself. and then i go right back to being a profile picture, a character ive made up, or something else entirely. its a weird feeling.
