By the way, we have "simbang gabi", which is a mass held in Catholic churches within nine consecutive evenings or dawns before Christmas. Vanessa, salted egg or "itlog na maalat" as we call it is best eaten with ripe tomatos.

You should try riding the Pasig Ferry! Try riding from Guadalupe Ferry Station then unload at: Lawton Ferry Station then go and enjoy the new and improved Arroceros Forest Park. You will have a blast there! You should ride back the last ferry so that you can see Pasig River at night.

Qualifier though that while Christmas is more fun in the Philippines, it is the busiest however in the streets so expect more traffic, malls and restaurants are packed, and airports and seaports are teeming with people.
