Ich koche das Wasser im Wasserkocher ab, lasse es abkühlen und verwende es dann für alle meine Grünpflanzen. Wir haben hier in Deutschland wirklich viel zu kalkhaltiges Wasser, das schadet jeder Pflanze. Helfen würde auch das Leitungswasser mittels Britta Wasserfilter zu reinigen. Viele Grüße aus Sachsen.

I'm sorry to hear about your orchids! When orchids are exposed to freezing temperatures, it’s important to act quickly to try to save them. While the frozen leaves cannot be revived, if the stems and roots are still healthy, the plants may recover. Here are some steps you can try: Trim the frozen leaves: Remove the damaged leaves to prevent the plant from using energy on parts that can't recover. Check the stems and roots: See if the stems and roots are still firm and not rotting. If they’re healthy, the plant might recover. Maintain moisture and stable temperature: Ensure the plant gets enough light but not too much, and maintain a stable temperature (around 20-25°C). Water lightly: Make sure the plant isn’t dehydrated, but don’t overwater to avoid root rot. If you follow these steps and the plant can regrow from the stems and roots, it might have a chance to recover. However, if the stem is also damaged, the plant may not recover. Good luck saving your orchids!
