Found you about a couple of weeks ago. I am life time plant person and my landscaping around my home as well as my patio plants reflect it. However my Achilles heels have been orchids and African Violets. I have never bought orchids but however I’ve received many of them. I watched one of your rescue videos with the baking soda and rice water baths as well as using the moss instead of of the wood chips they come in and have done the process with those that were looking ready for the compost pile. Well on their behalf I am sending their eternal gratitude as they have perked up and the few leaves on them look healthy!

I got the potting wrong and all the roots fell off 😭 then i thought about your channel, if anyone knows how to save them, it’s you! And the first video I saw was exactly what I was looking for. I feel so fortunate to have found channel! I am an orchid enthusiast! I have question if you do t mind? Recently my daughter asked me to save her phalenopsis. It has a kiki which hasn’t developed any roots. The spike is almost dead. I am keeping it alive . But now seeing how you did this. Do you think this process would work for a rootless kiki ? Thank you so much! Wow the orchids you were showing are gorgeous. I’ve been growing orchids for more than 20 years! They are good for my soul! I recently had to make a big move. The orchids wouldn’t have made the trip. I donated them to a college. I am blessed to be have a collection going of several different species. A gentleman was moving and was selling them. I got them all ☺️ they are all thriving ! Hope you don’t mind the story there . Again thank you !

Thank you for asking! To make natural fertilizer for orchids, you should use fresh ground coffee grounds (used after brewing) rather than instant coffee. Fresh coffee grounds provide more nutrients for the plant without unnecessary additives from instant coffee. If you have more questions, feel free to ask! 🌱

Puedes probar los siguientes pasos: Revisa la frecuencia de riego y asegúrate de que el sustrato no esté encharcado. Coloca la planta en un lugar con luz moderada, evitando la luz solar directa. Si sospechas de un hongo, puedes usar una solución antifúngica natural como extracto de jengibre o ajo, o comprar un fungicida en una tienda de jardinería. ¡Espero que esto ayude a tu planta a recuperarse! ❤️

Coffee grounds contain nutrients like nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, which benefit the plant's growth. If you decide to use brewed coffee, make sure it doesn’t contain sugar or milk, as those can harm the plant.
