I don’t have a green thumb, but I have been trying very hard to care for these two precious gifts. Making sure I prolong the life of the buds as long possible. Thank you for watching! When orchids sprout from the leaves (usually called keiki), you can let them grow until they have sufficient roots. Then, you can separate them and pot them in a separate container for them to develop into an independent orchid plant. Make sure the keiki has enough light, humidity, and isn't drying out to grow healthily. Best of luck!

You can use both lemon juice and lemon peel, but for orchids, the peel is safer. Lemon juice is highly acidic, and using too much can harm the roots. The peel contains nutrients and essential oils that help stimulate growth without drastically altering the substrate's pH. If you want to use lemon juice, dilute it well with water before applying. 🌿🍋 Happy growing! 😊

typically combine the methods for orchid care depending on the situation and the type of plant. For example, I might use a mix of bark, pumice, and moss depending on the needs of the plant during different stages of growth. If the plant needs more moisture, I’ll add more moss. If it needs better aeration, I’ll prioritize bark and pumice. Each method has its own benefits to help the orchid grow strong. 🌸

But you can find many resources and books on orchid and plant care from online bookstores or local bookshops. Para mantener tus orquídeas saludables y evitar que se pierdan, te sugiero seguir algunos cuidados básicos: Luz: Las orquídeas necesitan luz indirecta pero suficiente para su crecimiento. Evita colocarlas en lugares con luz solar directa ya que puede quemar sus hojas. Riego: Asegúrate de no regar demasiado, ya que las orquídeas no gustan de estar encharcadas. Deja que el medio se seque completamente antes de regar nuevamente. Nutrición: Usa fertilizantes naturales como plátano, manzana o cáscara de plátano para proporcionar nutrientes. Esto ayudará al crecimiento sostenible de las plantas sin dañar el medio ambiente. Sustrato: Elige un sustrato que drene bien, como la corteza de pino o musgo, para evitar que las raíces se pudran por exceso de agua. Paciencia y cuidado constante: Las orquídeas requieren tiempo y paciencia, así que cuídalas regularmente y observa su estado para ajustarlo cuando sea necesario.
