Good morning - thank you for showing how to care, multiply our orchids. It is also so interesting to see how the cuttings that are propagated grow and flourish. I am sure I mentioned how I killed all the orchids I bought through sheer ignorance. Watching your videos made me more interested in following your instructions and I bought a few miniature and large Phalaenopsis orchids. I was actually very concerned coming home with them, I re-potted them, and held my breath and watered with onions and garlic water and shortly after the Cattleya sprouted a new growth, I nearly jumped high, then I noticed the other phals were developing new leaves and they are growing so well. I have no hot house, our home is quite cold especially during winter, but thus far with tender care they seem to do very well. So I watch your videos regularly as I am subscribed and I keep learning. My Phalaenopsis orchids, the Seller had scraped off the eyes on the branch of the flowers :( fortunately I found one or two eyes and after watching today's episode, I have hope to try and grow a new orchid for myself. I will do my best :) many blessings and have a lovely day. Kind regards, Elize.

La fibra de coco también es muy buena para las orquídeas, ya que retiene la humedad y proporciona buena aireación a las raíces. Asegúrate de que la fibra de coco esté ligeramente húmeda para evitar que la planta se pudra. ¡Te deseo mucho éxito con este método y con el cuidado de tus orquídeas! 🌸

You can add some fertilizer to your water to make them bloom and germinate faster like a spoon of 14-14-14 NPK and a spoon of 16-0-0 UREA. You can add some charcoal with those moss also for the ph of fertilizer to be filtered and the plants will absorbed pure nitrogen elements and minerals from the water.

The music is nice but annoying -- Can you give some guidelines -. Is it best to plant the orchid in soil or in wood chips as showing in video. - I have seen banana skin chopped and garlic cloves and made into fertilizer. Are these the best are there others. - as you can see I am a newbie at this.

Regarding your questions: Planting Orchids: It's best to plant orchids in a well-draining medium like wood chips, bark, or sphagnum moss. Soil can retain too much moisture and may harm the roots. Wood chips are ideal because they provide good aeration and drainage, which orchids love. Fertilizer: You’re on the right track with banana peels and garlic cloves! They can be very effective for orchids. Other natural fertilizers you can try include coffee grounds, apple peels, and even potato skins. It’s all about providing the right nutrients to help your orchids grow strong and healthy. The key is to use them in moderation. It’s great to see you learning about orchids! Keep experimenting, and don't hesitate to reach out if you have more questions. 😊
