Maybe this song did not stick with you so well because it is covered by SNSD^^. The original song was released in 1989 by Lee Seung chul (the year our kid leader Taeyeon was born). BTW, there are several performances with SNSD and Lee Seung chul together singing "Sonyeoshidae".

This is girls' generation is just debuted in that time. That's why they deserve to be called queens cause they have the true live vocals that can't have by the other new kpop 3rd and 4th Gen. Not hating cause they debuted to SING and make music, not just to be cute on stage :)

This song is actually a cover of an already existing Korean rock song from the 70s. The group was named after it and that's why they covered it in a pop rock genre. They performed the song live with the original singer and it was wholesome. He played the guitar too and sang along with them. I recommend checking it out if you haven't already.
