How great is this comeback? Loved your reaction. I'm not a big Christmas song person either, but Magical is just oozing with charm. I was trying to rank all twice releases of 2024 in my head. The amount of content they put out was astounding. For me it is: 1. Nayeon - Na ABCD, Magic, Halli Galli, etc etc. Just so good. AOTY contender. 2. Twice - With You(th) My first comeback as a Once. I got you made me cry. I was fully invested in One Spark and one of the few people that seemed to love the song. B-sides amazing. 3. Twice - Strategy. So good. Feels like the title track will eventually blow up, but…who knows? Love Dahyun’s song Keeper. And Magical gives me the feels. 4. Twice - Dive (full album) - I feel like this is slept on. But not by me. In fact just seeing it on this list makes me want to play it again. TT is good, but I think Beyond The Horizon is one of my favorite japanese releases of the year. 5.Misamo - Haute Couture. New Look…yes! Identity needs/is missing a bridge. How could they miss that? And i adore the solos. 6. Tzuyu - abouTZU. It’s cute. There are a couple of super cute songs. Run Away is a grower. I love seeing *her* growth though. Austin mentioned her vocals becoming more confident on Strategy EP. I’m sure a solo release and promotion has a lot to do with that. Guys. That’s SIX major releases in 2024. Insane. And also finished up a highly successful world tour. Onces really were spoiled.

Completely agree about wishing live clips, killing voices, etc. were done without (or at least very minimal) processing. It still sounds good, but the vocals tend to lose a bit of the singer's... personality?... or uniqueness? Just a bit empty I guess. It is what it is. P.S. In this album Taeyeon really show us her various techniques she learned and has 😂😂😂 maybe you can check out her behind the scene live clips.
