Some people also tend to forget, that USA was 3rd place in preliminaries, and in semifinal rounds heading to the final, she was overall in 3rd place in scoring, behind Curacao and Italy, and being tops in Interview, so USA was always one of the heavy contenders to win. And when Curacao and Italy didnt place in the top 3, barring disaster, USA was going to be the heavy favorite and the rest is history as she won giving one of the wittiest and funny answers a Miss Universe winner ever did.

what I liked most about her was the authenticity, she didn't put on any airs, she was completely herself, and I don't think there was anything wrong with her beauty. I was surprised in some ways that others didn't make it. I personally wanted Italy to win, but I'm still happy Brooke won. To be honest after the show is when I think her real beauty came out.
