Is it only a certain species of ant that is active at certain times? I feel like the ants where I live don't ever rest lol it could be 109 degrees and they are still running around lol

Yea definitely some species are active in the heat and others are not! The wood ants I work with are definitely a little slow to get up because they don’t like to work when it’s cold and also they go inside the colony once it gets too hot. But some species are able to work in more extreme temperatures. 🐜🐜🐜🐜
