A very merry Christmas to you sir , I served with the royal Highland fusiliers in the eighties,a guy I served with(capt John mcdermid) brother had fought at tumbledown he did it with the arse cut out of his combats as they all had the shits from the peaty water !alas John was killed in Afghan in 2007 he had served his country for over 20years ,sorry if this sounds a bit morose but it's just my way of remembering him,much love to all the muzzleloaders (just about to join you as I scored a couple of pounds o black powder today, it's rarer than goldust here in Scotland)❤

One day I'd like to visit the Falklands! Both for the history and the rugged, remote landscape at the far edge of the British empire. Also, those Penguins are cute and hilarious. I must say the Scots Guards had a different type soldier in 1982 LOL.
