As an avid TV viewer with only one in the house. Watching this show every Tuesday was a must. Happy Days, Laverne and Shirley, Threes Company, it was a special lineup for us. Now looking back at 59, and losing my parent my sister, and watching our beloved childhood memories becoming a dim memory: I realize even more now that every second spend with family and friends is important. It didn’t seem so important or even special during these times, but looking back it was the best period of my life. Hearing my mom sing Rock around the clock,mic only I could hear her sing the theme to Happy Days just one more time. Thanks for the memories and Rest In Peace to all the actors who have gone to their rewards, and my beloved family. ⭐️

Robin williams was in two episodes. I never knew that. I actually stopped watching in 1977, literally the last episode i watched was when Fonzie "Jumped the shark" maybe wasnt so much Happy days, but a point in my life I lost interest in TV. I always thought it was ironic the last show for me was the jump the shark episode, the leather jacket on the water skis and the borrowing of the American grafitti concept by Ron howard did it.

I was a teenager then (well, 12 in '74), but similarly I gave up on this show after just 3-4 years I guess. I know I never saw the "Jump the shark" episode, but somebody started using that phrase as a catchphrase for "when TV shows go bad", or whatever--the plots start getting either stupid/lame or predictable/boring, or both. (And that's just the GOOD shows--the ones that weren't lame or stupid to begin with, which is 90% of them!) Anyway, I would never associate Robin Williams with Happy Days, and I thought Mork & Mindy was lame, but I thought Wiiliams himself was a funny guy. RIP

Robin Williams was in a few episodes of Happy Days then they gave hime his own show Mork & Mindy which was a spin off from Happy Days…….basically he was Mork in both shows (same character) for the slow people lol

Yes he did in 2 or 3 episodes. He as Mork encountered Fonzie when the Fonz was house sitting for them. On the phone he heard a strange noise and Mork was at the front door. Fonzie set Mork with LaVerne but as usual Mork acted childish and immature. On the Mork and Mindy he told Mindy about the 1950s when he first arrived.

As one said,.. Time goes by for all of us. How we use it is what determines how our lives progress or cease. I think sometimes I would rather just remember them all the way they were but again, we don’t control that so we just have to take life Day by Day. I still miss all of the ones that have left us as if it was just yesterday. I grew up watching these so much that it’s like they say, you watched it so much almost as if they were part of your Family. May sound stupid to some but that’s just how I see things. I will remember them just as I remember the 9-11 events. When Happy Days debuted, I was 19, single, living in an apt. in a suburb of L.A. for $160/month! Lol. Couldn't wait until that night to see the show. I believe the year was 1974! My heart goes out to Erin Moran...aka..."Joanie". She ended up losing her house because she couldn't find work. She was homeless until her mother in law took her in. She died of stage 4 cancer of the throat @ age 56. So sad! If I were one of those cast members, I would've helped her or at least took her in, during the time(s) she was homeless.

I am a big fan of Happy Days as a little 70s kid back then. RIP Mr. C; Pat Morita as Al who played as Mr Miyagi on Karate Kid. Penny Marshall as LaVerne, Joannie aka Cupcake, Robin Williams as the 👽 Mork from Ork who played in 2 or 3 episodes. I love when Mork date is LaVerne wearing Richie clothes. Laurette Spang who played on Battlestar Galactica as Cassiopeia as Lieutenant Starbuck girlfriend.

As we age, (I’m now 52), it is realistic that we get emotional and sad to recollect on this kind of media exposure! Everybody in this show played a special role. Richie, Ralph and Potsie could always be talking about the chicks. While the Fonz would listen to them. Or if Pink or Leather were in, he would attend to them first and then with Richie and company. Then there's Howard and Marion Cunningham the folks of Richie and Joanie. Then comes Chachi, who is a relative of the Fonzie, tries his very best to win Joanie's heart and at the last episode of Happy Days they get married. Mar. 3, 2020 @ 8:52 am.

Wow, out of all the Then and Now's I have seen, most of these people aged extremely well. Roz Kelly, Linda Purl and a couple others are still hot!!!! And this is not a dig to your video, she wasn't on very often, but you forgot Melinda Naud who played Paula Pierigo. Whom I consider one of the hottest stars of the 70's. :) And she's my friend, lol, so I was hoping to see her on here. But excellent video. It is so sad about Erin Moran.
