I have been to Eyemouth after those red codlings way back in 1969. Enjoyed reliving those trips up there Alas I live now in New Zealand and lost my balance so no rock fishing now at 77 years old, Thank you Jarrow for some happy memories. Tight Lines!

Hi Robert the Cutty Sark inn seems very reasonable I've not stopped over but looks good definitley check it out...unfortunately there are no easy spots to access that are worthwhile trying they are all a bit of an up and down clamber over dangerous rocks or cliffs.. Im not sure of your level of fitness at 69.....I like the rocks about a mile south of the harbour before the climb up the hill about as easy as it gets along there...if you do check it out make sure the sea is calm and no rain is forecast 😉
