G'day folks. Some great finds this week out and about metal detecting with the mighty Minelab Manticore. A Token I've never seen before and 2 magnificent snake buckles.
#thecoffeebushkid
Thanks for hunting out my KZbin channel.
My name is Andrew, so why do they call me The Coffee Bush Kid? I may have found the odd gold coin or two in the middle of the coffee bush where others fear to tread.
Metal detecting in Central Victoria, Australia. Goldfields relics, treasures, and the odd Aussie critter.

That trade token - incredible!! Well done mate. Absolutely loved the pristine snake buckle as well. The sort of content that makes someone want to pick up their detector after a prolonged absence and head out for a swing. Catch you on the next :)

Gday Mish. It was incredible. In a spot I didn’t intend to go to. As is the way. Long grass where that was. That first snake was an absolute gift. Glorious. Glad the video gives you the enthusiasm to get out. So go on🤣🤣. There still appears to be tokens in the ground. You know what the next question is. Catch you when we do 👍😁

What a productive site Andrew. The tokens and snake buckles were fantastic finds and again demonstrates how good the Manticore is. Such a shame that people make such a mess and do not fill in their holes when digging.

Gday Luke. It is a good site for sure. Still plenty to still find there. It is disappointing to see so many unfilled holes and they are all along the hillside. Thanks for watching 😁👍

Great video! Some cracking finds. Those snake buckles are some lovely things. The token is interesting. The ship makes sense as Liverpool has always been a busy shipping port. The bird on top of the shield in my mind is what is known as a “Liver bird”. 👍🏻🇬🇧

Gday Gaz. Very lucky out with the hunt. I have done the research now and know it is a Liver bird but on first looks on a dirty half worn out coin, it looks like a swan. The snake buckles were a great find too. Take care mate 🦘🦘😁👍

Thanks for watching Paddy. That was a very good day. As you know, when you are on it, you’re on it. I’m looking over the shoulder of a lot of you blokes over in your neck of the woods when you go out too. Speaking of which, am currently reading the accidental Detectorist and who should I find in the pages. You and Andy. He made mention of your knowledge and it was because of you and Henry suggesting I go into a field at Detectorvil that I got a hammered. Very much agree with the sentiment. Say Gday to your dad from both of us. Take care mate 🦘🦘😁👍

I could say some very unkind things about the type of people that leave those ungodly terrible chicken scratchings like that in the ground. But I won't. I'll just say, I hope that one day, they actually understand their machines. Or give up sooner and sell their machine, so that there's one less Chicken Scratcher tearing up the ground! That said, absolute beaut finds in this trip! That single header is such a specimen.

Those tools that pick massive holes and leave them open make such a mess get my blood boiling. I've had it done illegally done on some of my private permissions and it makes all detectorists look like D---- heads. Besides that happy days alright with the snake buckles and tokens. As someone else noticed, " The Liver- bird on the token. It appears on an Adelaide token for a business that came from Liverpool also.

Fortunately they are the type of detectorists that dont last long out there! its all to much hard work for them, I hope they had several flat tires on the way home, thats all they deserve! Now! back to the real deal! I tried to watch this last night, but it was all fragmented viewing, WiFi. need I say more! The lamp part looked like a mini swaggy's hat, Why! because it had all the holes for tying the corks too.. What a ripper buckle, and yep! more like a griffin head, it was in great condition too! its on my long list of, Yet to find find's! dont like my chances for a 1791 token though!... Sorry, Here we go! Keep token token token What's that stuff your smoken How'd you know that token, was there With unfilled holes around you Where the coffee bush surround's you The detecting gods must be there by your side Dig em up, pull em out Dig em up, pull em out Dig em up, pull em out, more finds Take em home Wash em up Then watch Viv Do her stuff As she brings, all your finds to life....
