Another thought was cowboys would sleep in some really sleazy places. Many would have bed bugs and fleas. You wouldn’t want to get those infiltrated into your hat. 🤠

Thank you! I have an LB’s that I got from Amazon. It’s under a hundred dollars, of decent quality and I have cracked it, and it is fun to play with, but I am by no means an expert in whips. I would consider mine to be more of a starter whip. Kirk Brackmann knows much more about whips and, I believe, has a couple of videos here on KZbin about them. That’s a new project for me: brush up on whip knowledge! Thanks for asking and great to hear from you!

Happy Resurrection Sunday. He is Risen! I think cowboy hat etiquette for not placing the hat on the bed is because most people will sit on the bed or flop themselves down on the bed without looking or thinking of anything is on there to beware of. Also…. you have sexual relations on the bed and don’t want sexual fluids contacting your hat and contaminating it. Just a few thoughts on that. But I don’t have any real substantial proof of why.

Thanks for sharing. I believe in the saving Grace through our risen Lord Jesus Christ. The cowboy hat episode sounds interesting, I have always worn western style Akubras, but my next is going to be some sort of Fedora. I'm thinking of the RM Williams hat.
