I was sad that it didn't work out with Pete, I thought that they would have been great together. I think the relationship with Dave could have been okay, but with Alex in the mix it made things a little too messy.

I love Penny's character. Sucks that her gut took her that long to figure shit out. She is essentially lost and I am not sure why she would use William's relationship as a template for what she wants. That is what works for them. Penny needs a strong and understanding person who is going to calm her anxiety. Unfortunately, she might not find that person and may have to settle for someone who is not as nice a Pete. But hey, it is all about gut feelings.
