Omfg, you were right, as a control player that final 'big boy' counterspell battle was so satisfying - - with their own counters! 😂😂😂 Get clowned on

Loved the triple counter into concede from the opening game. It is frustrating to play against!

Yes! I absolutely hate playing against decks like that, so I truly loved being able to give them such a taste of their own medicine that they conceded in frustration. That was glorious.

Play a win con next time! 😆 Love seeing control get out controlled!

Those matches are grueling, but you do sometimes get a really satisfying win like that. _Almost_ makes it worthwhile... 🤣 Thanks for the comment, you're a super fan!

lol love the “I’m UW control so I overthink things”
@BullingdonMTG10 ай бұрын
Haha, even as a control player who is, admittedly, _very_ thoughtful about my plays (to put it generously), I think I'm still safe making that characterization of UW control players without any hypocrisy. It's as if every No More Lies requires you to think for 2 full minutes about casting it.

That UW control deck was insane. It's just an insta forfeit to aggro decks.

I know, and there are _so many_ of those decks around! I can't imagine making the choice to play a deck like that in this meta. I'm sure they do have fun against other control decks of course, though it's hard to imagine that makes up for endless losses against fast decks casting uncounterable creatures every turn with Caverns.

Lol the speed up is funny, but is it me or does the first play map music for eldraine sound so much like the Sims music? 😂😂 Edit: also, it's cool to see players that do the hand as I do and put lands on right. 😊 Also, Question: why have you only sideboard built as far as 7 deep? perhaps its still early or you just dont play the Bo3 too often. I forget but I think 7 is just how big the side accessible from cards like archavios is. 15 is for Bo3. I'm just used to nowadays building for bestof3. if you have any suggestions lmk, but no prob, I can fill out from there. its neat having access to side wl the battle, just make it heavier with I/Sorceries

Wow, I love to find another land-right player! I feel like we are rare, but to me it makes much more sense to play cards from the right hand side, so I keep land to the right and then increasing mana cost from there. Sideboard is only 7 cards because in best of 1 you only have access to 7 cards, not all 15, and I generally only play best of 1. You could definitely expand this to Bo3, you'd fill out the sideboard with whatever you needed for the meta (instants or sorceries are great because they can also be fetched with Invasion, but not requires). You'd also probably want to adjust the main deck -- I'd assume you wouldn't need so many 3-mana sweepers in Bo3, so you'd probably have room to make the main a little more general purpose too. If you try it, let me know what you come up with and how it does for you!

Have you made a 🔵🔴⚫️ Grixis Control with Mindsplice Apparatus and Chandra, Hope’s Beacon?
@BullingdonMTG10 ай бұрын
I did play a Grixis Mindsplice deck -- kzbin.info/www/bejne/rpCWn4yIabx6r6s -- but I didn't use Chandra. In that one I was trying out the new Judith to see how it worked as the support card for a spell-heavy deck. I do love the idea of doubling a Robbery though, so I may have to try one with Chandra now too. Thanks for the suggestion!
