I read that NBC thought it’s ratings were to low to justify being renewed. Which is interesting because the show was able to have a full season.

Most shows from what I know don't make episodes as the season is ongoing, they probably had to do the whole season before airing, then rely on the early/mid season ratings to deem whether it was worth a second or third season. As much as I liked it, after a few times watching over the years, I don't think (just my opinion) that a second season really had anywhere to go. I know most sitcoms don't, but I think better to have 22 pretty good episodes and go out on a laugh than continue for 44 or 66 and have 1/2 or 2/3 be just mediocre. But, just my opinion. Kind of sad we didn't see what happened next, but good that it didn't carry on too long like too many sitcoms. Thanks for watching all the same, hope it stays up, since I don't think you can find it anywhere else.
