I am absolutely in love with the "Elk" track. Elks are such regal, majestic, mysterious animals; if you listen closely, you can even hear the cry of an elk in the background. But it's eerie to me also, because if I just close my eyes and listen, it sounds like the cry of an elk, but it could also resemble the sound of creaking metal.

Feeding time is one of the most brilliant examples of a violently disturbing song to me, with this unending rise in tension through the voice synth parts and their slow pitch change creates this viciously unnerving environment in the game, the train horn esc synth used before they re-enter also helps to build a feeling of increased panic and sustains the tension during the game.

I’m being serious when I say thank you to the people who made this soundtrack and thank you for Happy Game. I got it yesterday and finished it and even if it wasn’t as long of a game as I thought it would’ve been, what I went through was good. During gameplay there wasn’t anything that I didn’t like. I won’t go too much into it, but honestly, as I believe it to truly be the case, the symbolism in the game is something I didn’t understand first play through, but looking back on it and watching videos about what Happy Game’s lore could be, it opened my eyes and made me piece together what’s actually happening during the game. I got to say, this level of art of meaning and art in a game is something I personally haven’t seen for years, and I dig it. I was going to talk more about what the game is actually about in my own opinion, but I won’t spoil it fully (I will say a bit in my last paragraph so for anyone who hasn’t played the game yet, play it or watch it ig). But let me just say the three big stages in the game, very clever. I didn’t get it at first, but man, when you know more about it, it makes me feel worse for the main character heavily and the idea that this is actually based on what some people do to cope with the past is all the more terrifying for Happy Game, a game about what some people are willing to do in desperation to feel happy again through traumatic events.

I know you asked for my take on the game, and I would probably come back to talk about it another time as a comment, but I decided to leave it on the back burner for the time being because I might end up making a proper youtube channel in the future. Initially I was going to use this one I'm commenting on now, but I think having a new one might be best. I don't plan to make it soon, I would rather have everything I need in check first if I decide to do it. I want to make like one of those 40+ minute length videos discussing a topic, in this case Happy Game, and have my take on it possibly be heard by people like you who are interested in it. I hope you understand, because I genuinely love Happy Game and what story it's trying to tell for me, even if the game had barely any thought put into it (which I highly doubt). So, if you see a video about Happy Game in the future on some random account you probably never heard of before, hope you remember this comment and come back to it! Even if I don't make it, I appreciate your interest in my opinion of its symbolism and everything it shows the player. I recommend you to play the game yourself if you haven't and to not see it as some shock value game Markiplier or whoever played (idk if Mark has played it lol) because it's not, at least in MY opinion. ;) P.S: Who knows, maybe I will come back and comment my thoughts in the future, like I said, hope you can understand!

18:58 Is my favorite part, it feels like travelling trough an infinte world floor made of weirdcore mushrooms whith ballons sometimes flying out of the holes in the ground, more and more of them are red, everytime one goes out now, it's black. Every eye is staring at you. More balloons, more. Now they get stuck in the forest of mushroom you just entered. Turn around. Forest. You run tracing your way to this forest. There's no escape. Then,you see a bmack figure walking towards you, the closer it gets, the glitchier everything gets, the mushrooms are all dead, ripped out the ground, and boddies, rotting on the floor just appeared. You notice that your sideways on the floor so try getting up, then a hand falls on the floor. You see a ring on it. An atomium sculpture whith heads instead of balls is on the index finger. But that's your ring.

The soundtrack might be nice, but the true backstory of the poor kid just makes me cry. The trauma he experienced, the cope mechanism he had for it to just put a smile (in game you can see in dream 2.2 he put on his head this smiley helmet, meaning it was all fake). While it was happening he started to lose himself and his soul, and when he was an adult, he was acting like he was a kid, because of the trauma he had, he never recovered from it. And died because of drugs, but his soul will ever be in constant pain.

I wanna do a special comment to the song "Running Boy" (song 5). It is so incredible, you can 'feel the feeling' of the boy running through his dream (I mean the grown mind of the boy trying to reach his dream in his own dream, even if it is fake and impossible). You can feel the calmly in the boys mind, even all the external is chaotic and disturbing. If you played the game you know that the boy everytime try to see the good thing. And through the song at some point the voice is getting more farther, meaning maybe he reach the peace, by death or someones help, maybe the truth coming to protagonist, so the calm voice disappears (the end has 2 possible interpretations, one good other bad, most known is the bad one, actually the bad one has 2 other "subinterpretations", one is that the protagonist die and finally rest in peace or he is stuck forever in that nightmare, yeah, the bad interpretation has other worst interpretation within), or it's just an aesthetics for the song.

I love this game, even though there are flesh-eating bunnies, gore, blood, and being an unhappy game, this is the best game ever.
