Alright! You get 5 stars from me! Anyone who gives us a lesson on a Don Rich tune deserves high praise. Don is one of my favourite musicians, not just for guitar--- he also could play great fiddle and banjo, and as everyone knows, was Buck Owens' sidekick and vocal harmonist for many years. All those famous Buck Owens hits of the '60s feature Don in a major way, both singing and playing. Don's wonderful harmonies impressed everyone, including the Beatles. He made many great recordings with Buck, and his distinctive Telecaster picking guitar was highly influential, to this very day. When Don was tragically killed, Buck Owens was devastated and never was able to sound the same again. Don Rich---- a truly great personality, musician and entertainer. Thank you for educating younger people about him. Very much appreciated!

@@gregorystoner4708 Oh right, absolutely, I can't stand all these Ed Sheeran kinda ballady types for example, that's so horribly cheese crap. But I didn't even mean that, back when I still played in bands, 20 years ago, with a cover band we did some songs I would've never ever listened to at home but they often were the most fun to play.

Adrian is an absolute gem. Brilliant call to include a wide variety of songs, music, and genres. There is a lot more overlap across seemingly unrelated genres and styles than a lot of people, even musicians, realize. Yet another reason why this channel is one of the best guitar and music channels out there.

Don was one of the very first country gunslinger players with Buck. Like a lot of the best players Don was selective in his solos and created complimentary licks. His stuff is worth a listen even if you are not a big country fan. Great that you picked something other than the obvious choice of “Buckaroo.”

I actually find country guitar difficult to play authentically, I always end up sounding more like Creedence Clearwater Revival. A more rocked up version of country. But I really enjoy watching and listening to country guitarists with all the tricky bends and effortless sounding runs up and down the neck.
