Thanks very much for watching and for your very interesting question, unfortunately I don't have an interesting answer. I am only going to say that waaaaaaaay back at the beginning, kids would come to your door and say "trick or treat!" If you gave them treats they wouldn't burn your house and barn. It's an ancient celtic harvest festival. Here in Wales the ancient tradition of Calan Gaeaf was on 1st November, which was considered the first day of winter after the last harvest. The night before, Nos Galan Gaeaf, is the origin of the modern halloween, where a feast and ritualistic fire worship would take place to ward off the spirit of a headless woman called 'the white lady' who was a devourer of souls.... Our ancestors were a wild bunch 😅
